The Wolverine 2013

Currently to be in production and Hugh Jackman stars again as the most popular X-men character Wolverine. The storyline is set on his origins in Japan and the main villain is the Silver Samurai. I just hope he wears that iconic suit of the brown and orange costume, the best wolvy for me.

It has started production in Australia and not Japan sadly. Here are some scenes captured outside of a faked japanese set.

Went and saw this today it was a good action flick, Jackman was good as Wolverine once again and there was a couple of unexpected twists. the only thing I would say is make sure you stay after the credits- definitely worth staying back that extra couple of minutes.

Yeah, I saw this on Friday night.....loved it. Enjoyed it a lot more than Man of Steel to be honest. Can't wait for Days of Future Past now! Smile

Same here, I initially thought it was better than both Man of Steel and IM3. There are just few things that were annoying e.g. Jean.

Saw this on Monday. I liked parts of it. Wasn't a huge fan of Viper or Silver Samurai as the villains.

Got all excited early on thinking Wendigo may have been in it. I don't know why... I'm sure I would have heard about it before hand. Razz

I think the parts of the Wolverine films I like are the parts without the high-tech. Liked parts of Origins and this one, but I just want them to make one bad-ass gritty noir-like Wolvie film without the elements of high-tech X-Men style gear.

Not too bad. More focus on drama then comics. but it does get more action as it builds.
In parts it felt like an ep of days of our lives with lots of eyes looking at each other, sideways glances and long awkward stares etc.

Loved it - my face comic based movie of 2013 so far
One thing though at the end of Origins Logan was in a bar in Japan and seemed to know Japanese but in this he needed a translator

The movie is mostly based on the Claremont/Miller mini-series which implied all Logan's Japanese adventures took place before he joined the X-Men. The film on the other hand takes place after the other films.
