We've used Perthgumtree...... seems like that's aust wide. worked well for us getting rid of some furniture/baby stuff and buying some outdoor things. not sure how good it'd be for selling collectibles

I think there is ozsales , but I do not think it would be good to sell to alternatives.Amazon would be the second best but we do not have a website in here.

I haven't spotted any good collectible deals but it has been a gold mine for last minute tickets to gigs etc.

Yeah, Gumtree is great for non-collectable stuff. Picked up a number of Ikea Detolf cabinets for way cheaper than store price.

BigJay, are you selling or buying? Aussie eBay is horrible lately - basically just a defacto online store at premium prices. Rarely see actual decent auctions anymore, just BIN sales.

I've found overseas stores to be much better, especially while our dollar is strong (this has generally always been the case anyway). Hong Kong and Singapore sellers can often have good deals (with free shipping!). Just be wary of knock offs (although some are so good you won't even be able to tell).

I can certainly vouch for Gumtree here in Adelaide. I sold off all my excess Gouldian finches that I had bred last season. The free advert ran for 4 weeks and I was still getting enquiries 2 weeks after that.
We recently posted our garage sale on there hilighting some action figures and Hot Wheel cars which drew some good responses.
Collectables are however few and far between on the site. Smile

I use http://www.quicksales.com.au/ which seems pretty decent for a local alternative (as a buyer, I've not sold on it).
