Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
Is there any likely hood of these hitting Aussie retail? Some collectors in the UK and even Netherlands have gotten them/confirmed they will be at their retail... Do you guys think we'll get them?

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
I would agree with PIXO on this one keep an eye out on Target or TRU . I have been busy this week but out of excitement that I have checked out Target and Almost all of Marvel are out of pegs with 2 only pegs available at my local target, so something is coming maybe.I would going overseas this month and mostly likely go into a toy hunt to buy them all, it would cost me $23 a piece since I am not going to the USA.I would keep my hopes upTahmidN wrote:Is there any likely hood of these hitting Aussie retail? P.S. Sydney CBD comic stores who import figures says they are not going to import it, so that's a sign. Also watch out for Hobby Co too.

The Iceman wrote:YAHOO!!!! Just get home from work, logged on to my account with Bigbadtoystore and my Marvel Legends series 1 case is currently being processed in "My loot". Soon as payment is cleared I'll be getting it shipped. Could be here by end of next week (or early following week). Will post pics soon as they arrive then once I've got them out and made Terrax I will post more pics. Unless I am lucky enough to score a variant Extremis Iron Man in my case as well as the regular I will have a spare at my cost + $8.50 (or $7.00 loose) postage to the first one to PM me. I so hope that quality on these is as good as they look and we get another long and successful run of Marvel Legends.![]()

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
Howdy Otter, I think that because I had my order placed within a couple of hours of them being listed meant I scored a case from their first allotment. They actually put the price up from $119.99 (my price) to $124.99 after the initial cases were allocated. Yours shouldn't be far off. Just checked mine and it's in their warehouse being assembled with some other MU figures. Hopefully ships tomorrow being Monday over there.
Yes, it's been so long since new Legends........this week is going to drag.

Guys updated, Australia will get them. The guy who told me at the comic shop was wrong and got informed today by the same shop that "YES!, we are getting it".Jor-erl was however right in saying " Its like a gunshot wound, waiting for it to get released".We will get them in the later months and my comics shop said that "we are having customs delay".
P.S. Recently checked with them TahmidN just now.

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
I don't think you will have any problems Otter with getting yours from Bigbadtoystore.....they've never short supplied me anything in three years and their packing is always first class. It actually wouldn't surprise me if Kings' Comics was getting them from BBTS or a similar supplier over in the U.S. If they were getting them from Hasbro then the good doc would have access to them too and his Hasbro rep has said nay. Kings wouldn't have the buying power like the big online stores in the States, those guys would be ordering 200 cases at a time. The BBTS price will work out around the $21 - $22 ea to get them here which would provide a nice mark up for Aus comic shops here that charge $30.00 which is probably fine with collectors that don't want to deal overseas or buy a full case. On the other hand as stated Toys-R-Us could surprise by going out on their own and stocking them however based on their MU sales I doubt it.

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
Just got a 'preordered items now available' notice from bbts
as Icey said, they work out at 22 bucks shipped, so not bad.
Marvel select colossus was in stock as well so its a very marvelly box that will be headed this way!

Whoo hoo Sam. Mine has left Wisconsin and hip-hopped across the states before starting its journey across the Pacific. I am thinking Tuesday next week allowing for the time it sits in Melbourne.

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
I don't mind paying 30, hopefully they'll be:
1) Not that much (the Iron Man 2 6 inch figures were selling at Kings for 25 -26 each)
2) Kings gets a relatively decent amount, i mean getting in 5 of each figure really won't be enough haha, although that's possibly all they can order, i don't know the logistics of these things very well. Kings frequently does reorder older MU waves though, i see the MU Iron Patriot being put back on shelves at kings often. I noticed the newer MU's have seemed to be peg warming at Kings, perhaps people retaining from purchasing them in anticipation for legends? Or just poor waves?

Knew yours wouldn't be far off Otter. Just checked on mine and they have landed in Melbourne with an estimated delivery next Tuesday by end of day. Crazy that from the mid-north of the USA (Wisconsin) to Australia takes 3 days but Melbourne to Adelaide will take 4 days.
Oh well, the excitement builds.

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
That's just nuts with the shipping iceman takes longer when locally ships. Getting mine in two weeks going overseas for business and going to local toy shops in a hunt hopefully would get the variant Steve Rogers.

Hopefully, they still have stock and not overpriced. I would imagine paying $30 or more for a variant since I calculated in AUS rate a figure cost $23 a piece during its pre-release state.

Mine has left the states. I hope the 2nd wave is at least 2 months off shipping as I want to savour the 1st plus I need to space the purchases.

Masque looks awesome.
On a side note that's the first toy review I have ever seen with a female reviewer. I'm sure there are plenty out there...that's just the first I've seen.

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
Just got home from work Otter and a box of Marvel greatness was awaiting me.
I have opened the big box and grabbed the Marvel Legends box from within and they have sent me a variant case.
Absolutely stoked except I will have to purchase a regular blue Ghost Rider asap as I actually prefer that one to the variant.
Steve Rogers is the transparent shield variant and the case has 2 of the Stealth variant.
Are you okay with the stealth version Paul or were you wanting a regular?
I have photographed them in package but am now recharging my camera batteries before I can down-load them and post.
I then have to decide whether I am going to open the variants as well as the regulars so I can build Terrax.

Re: NEW MARVEL LEGENDS
Guys,
Paul is after a regular Iron Man Extremis so I do have a Stealth one spare at
$22.00 + $7.50 for shipping however if Otter or Sam receives a normal case I am up for a clean swap if either of you want a Stealth.
