Re: 2011 OzFigurama Toy Awards - submit your display pictures!
hehe, thanks fellas, glad ya'll like the plastic =-)
Its been many years worth of collecting and slowly building it up, importing a lot from the states, and hoarding ! Its a kick to show it off and see the expression on ppl's face for the first time of 'W..T...F!!'
And, its still growing, as is everyone's collection on here! It needs refinement but hey, its been 9 years till i had been able to make the underground bit!
DBF, I'm only in retail sales, I just make sure I have no life otherwise LOL. Kinda helps that I dont drink or smoke, so no major vices other than toy collecting!=-)

Wowsers. Whenever I get nagged about the size of my "toy" collection in the future, I know what thread to make my partner look through.
Even in my Marvel Legends collecting heyday, I had nothing as impressive as any of these displays. And my current display is even worse since all the shelves except for one are in the process of being moved around. And the one that remains intact is MOTUC which hasn't been updated in months despite Catra, Grizzlor and Leech all wanting out of their plastic prisons.

I hope I'm not too late to get involved in this.
My collection is mostly in drawers at the moment, as I am still in the process of building a display for them, but here are some pics of what I have done so far.
(Apologies for the grainy quality and poor lighting, It's dark in my shed so I had to use the flash).

Welcome mate, great collection!
I might aswell post mine too...... As with Jor, I've refined and culled many times over the 14 odd years ive been collecting, also commitments such as family and mortgage mean i'm spending way less than i used to.
So I've included pretty much my whole room, even lego corner (nothing really built, just a spot for my boys to play with the lego, and my bits and pieces shelves.....Enjoy!

Epic dioramas Exciter! I'd love to be able to do that one day, I'm afraid lack of space + lack of painting skills will never be in my reach though!
Hey DBF those Lego heads look awesome! Do they stack on top of each other?

Space is your only problem. The building and painting part is easy. I have no talent or training. If you have a go you'll be surprised at how easily and how well it comes together.Mahzian wrote:Epic dioramas Exciter! Re: 2011 OzFigurama Toy Awards - submit your display pictures!
Sam, your collection is awe-inducing.
I'd hazard a guess that my collection is roughly 2/3 the size of yours, but mine is almost entirely boxed up in my garage.
DBF, loving yours too.
Also - slightly off topic - I totally just facepalmed when I looked at this image:

I was debating buying another Weapons Rack when it was 50% off last week, but ended up deciding against it, as what would I need 2 for really?
I honestly didn't even think to use it to display unused weapons from OTHER figures.
