Figuring we all spent more than the asking price to get most of our collections, I'd say yeah why not. The real issue would be putting $2K down in one single payment.

I agree, putting $2600 (includes postage) in a single payment would have been an issue.

Seems a little bit steep for loose figures.

$2600 is too much, typically selling ml now they should average out to around $15 per fig, but as a bulk lot like that I'd only pay $7 or $8 each, making that auction double what I'd personally buy it for... (IMHO)

They cost a lot now, depending on the figure.

Prices on ebay are often inflated by the early bidders or sellers and you can get the figures a lot cheaper Mad .An example was getting my 11 rare figs for $130 which I outbid other 26 bidders that includes MS Thanos, Silver Surfer, Thor, Apocalypse,MS Black Spidey, Series 8 cap and so on.Since it was bought for $15-$20 according to my seller and I quote DBF above "Sell those figs for $7-$8 a piece".

However, it depends on the figure some sells it for ridiculous prices such as $50-$150 range, which is unreasonable. So it actually depends on the seller and prices differs to some people e.g. if you got a lot of collection and trying to unload it.To check market price, you have to buy those American toy book prices , which I used to buy when I was kid.

Depending if its moc.

1)Which Kang the Hasbro or the Toybiz f4 classics?

Most likely the Toy biz would get around $60-$100

2) Juggy, I think lost its value due to the MS version which was better and bigger.
Around $20-$60

3) Iron Man series 1

MOC $40-$75

4) Colossus

MOC-$50-$75

5)Hawkeye

MOC-$50-$100

6) Cap.A series 1 and series 8

$40-$58 even its loose

7) Deadpool

$40-$150

Sentinel Series complete set for $200 comic r us Melbourne.

I suppose if someone is new to collecting to get most figures in a series in one hit might serve it's purpose but and I am sure a lot of you would agree that to build a collection from the ground up piece by piece would give you more satisfaction. I still get excited when I have purchased another piece and know it has been posted and is on the way. Smile

Did you collect it when it first came out as a series?

People have been telling its around $15-$20 at that time.I remembered back in high school it was a pretty huge price holding a Doc Oct in a scanner, can't remember the price .

Yeah, $14.00 each. I remember we had gone to visit the eldest daughter who was living in Husskinson at the time. We had a trip into Nowra, biggest town in that area, for lunch at the RSL club. Of course I had to check out the K-Mart and right in the action figure aisle was an open box of Marvel Legends 1 including pointy mask Iron Man variant. Man they were so far above the Toy Biz 5 inch figures I was just blown away. From that point on other figure series became secondary to me. I am just hoping that series 1 Legend relaunch due in just two short months has the same or close to it awesomeness but $14.00 each is long gone. Crying or Very sad

I have concluded not to buy any MOC anymore (unless its rare and hard to find), even though those comics brings back memories.
