Any QLDers know of any decent stores near the Gold Coast? I'm hunting that new Freddy figure!

hmm haven't hunted down the coast for awhile but there wasn't much worth mentioning after the mr toys robina moved, there are a few choice store up the road in Brissie though if you're up for a trek. The mr toys in the city mall is awesome, there is also comics etc on Elizabeth st which always has neat stuff

@ Mahzian

Are you aware of any second hand action figure stores still operating in Brisbane? I recall one that used to be in the city (up a narrow staircase), but I think it closed down a while ago. And I think there used to be a place in the Fortitude Valley train station as well which had a few second hand items.

I guess Ebay probably killed such stores.

The one up the narrow staircase sounds like Fanattic, that was one neat little shop, unfortunately now its a goth store although it does have some certain figures/dolls but mostly horror related (so maybe still of interest)

There was an anime store in the Valley near the train station in China town (haven't been there for awhile so not sure if it's still there) they had a lot of imported stuff although the prices were pretty extravagant if I remember right.

@ Mahzian.

Thanks. Fanattic - that's the one I was thinking of. It's a shame it closed.
