VERY glad to see MEF has lasted longer than 3 minutes.

I guess he uses that nasal spray I'm always seeing advertised.

From Toyguru in the ask matty section.

"The brand is going GREAT, and we are hitting the min number of baseline fan we need. But the lower overall sub sales for 2012 (compared to 2010 and 2011)have caused us to drop a few as yet announced non-sub items we were exploring for late 2012. Additionally the lower 2012 sub sales have caused us to reevaluate how many skus we will include in the sub for 2013. With the baseline going down signifigantly, it is a bit harder to justify to management any additional line expansions."

So does that mean that potentially they aren't gonna get the full cast out over the next few years like planned?

I guess we can read a few things into that, but honestly hope my lineup over the next year or so is dominated more by the characters I want, than the filler I dont want.

Still wondering if that battleram was approved or not?

Weird how the windraider came out of nowhere as the first vehicle, but the Ram was shown but not approved?

Hopefully it just refers to all the "extras" like the weapons packs, dioramas and stands. I don't want it to impact the actual figures or at least the figures of characters that are widely recognised and desired.

It will be interesting to see how Mattel juggle all the different groupings now they're also trying to squeeze Filmation figures into the line. It was bad enough when they were juggling MOTU, POP, NA and 200X and now they have another sub-group to try and represent.

It definitely indicates that Ram-Man will be the subscription exclusive next year. If Shadow Weaver couldn't get a LOT of people over the line, then they're going to have to go with someone really major for 2013.

They probabaly will....I can't see it making any difference.

This year people looked past Sorceress, Fisto, Khan, Spirit, Shadow Weaver & Thunderpunch He-man to focus on their dislike of the 'non vintage' characters.

Ram-Man as the 2013 sub figure, mixed in with more concept characters, PoP, NA, FILMation & possibly 1987 movie characters....will Rammy really entice any more sub buyers? or will people just wait & pay a fortune for him on eBay?

I would say he will replace Shadow Weaver as the most underproduced figure in the line...until we see the 2014 sub exclusive figure!

If Ram Man is the 2013 sub exclusive figure, I will blow my fucking top. Seriously.

Everyone in Perth will hear it (ok, so maybe two hours later than everyone else).
