WTF, $24.99USD?? How much are the regular MLEgends going to sell for in the US if they're demanding $24.99 for this?

And what a douche this guy is...."Yes, this Spider-man is a represenation of the new film that is coming out in 2012". If you're going to say that, at least have a a promo pieceon display that is actually wearing the correct costume!

Well, this is 24.99 i assume because:
1) It's an exclusive.
2) It comes in all that fancy special packaging and all..
I have a friend whose in the states at the moment and will be picking it up for me. What are your thoughts on the Thor figure? In my opinion i think it's not bad..

I completely understand that Con Exclusives are more expensive that regular figures......but what I'm trying to illustrate is that it appears from the pricing of this ONE figure, that Hasbro have a hefty price tag lined up for the regular line next year.

As for the figure itself, it is OK I guess. From this angle, the cape looks kinda small. I would have liked to have seen a soft goods cape given the scale and price of this figure. I think a cloth cape (done properly) would have topped it off nicely at that price.

I would have really liked Hasbro to make posable capes... I'm sure there's an appropriate material out there somewhere for that? Well in America DCUC is what, 17 bucks or something? It seems to me, the reason for Hasbro's legends relaunch is just to go up against Mattel pretty much...That being said, it would be illogical for them to price their figures 8 dollars more than their primary competitor.

I think ML figures retailed around US$11 to $13 depending on the outlet and state - well they did around the Denver area back in 2008. I wouldn't be shocked if they stay at that price or hit the US$15 mark.

Anyone have a pic of the Diamond Select Thor figure? Would like to compare the new Thor figure to the one released with that line.

I don't see myself jumping back onto the line. I might grab a Captain America but that'll do me.

I agree, I'm suspecting $15.00 per figure. Are DCUC really $17.00ea in the US?? YIKES!

I'll probably grab what ever Cosmic figures they produce (which I guess will be ZILCHO) and that's about it. With Sideshow announcing 12" versions of IG-88 and Boba Fett and Hot Toys confirming a line of DX Star Wars figures from next year, I know where my collecting $$$ will be going Wink
