I just checked them out.

As I was saying to Screamy & octane on the show last week, I would more than likely buy the DST versions of these characters.

Unless Hasbro plan to make a full series in 6", cause that would be more interesting. But as it is I don't think I would buy Hasbro product over DST's.

They do look nice though for Hasbro 6".

They look pretty good. I hope these are an indication of the quality of Hasbro's relaunch of Marvel Legends.

That typed, if they're trying to attract new fans/collectors, where are the "vanilla/classic" representations of Captain America and Thor? It's been a few years now since Marvel Legends were readily available, so I think it would be fair to start with the most "basic" representations before moving into "ultimate" variants, etc.

Aren't these repackaged figures from the previous ML line? The Loki looks similar to the one released through the old ML line with some tweaking to the helmet and clothing.

The Movie Cap and Thor i think are new molds, the others are all repaints or repacks, not too sure about that Loki though. Looks different to the Onslaught one, more modern esque.

The two on the right are straight-up re-releases (maybe repaints, hard to tell).

The two on the left are all new.

Fury looks like the ML Ultimate one, but with a new deco and headsculpt (IM2 MU upscale? Hopefully a new SLJ sculpt), and Loki looks like a scaled down MU Frost Giant, with new deco, and a new head and belt/loin-cloth piece.

And that's the problem right there. Most will buy just the 2 new figures (which appear to be simply scale-ups of the 3&3/4" figures anyways, just with added artoculation) and as a consequence any retailer that bought this line would get stuck with the other four figures.

Like the 6" Iron Man figures, I expect that these will end being a retailer exclusive in the US (Wal*Mart) and as a conequence won't be released here.

Pass for me - don't collect movie figures, and have the other four in some way, shape or form. Now NEW ML - yeah, I'm listening.....

No, they should be the unique 6" figures that were paraded around at NYTF this year (and never again mentioned by Hasbro).

Although the Cap figure had an unmasked head, which I was hoping would be an interchangable one on the released figure...

Wouldn't mind the Fury. The ultimate Fury was a great sculpt. Love SLJ. Razz
