Transformers Encore - Devastator!

Just received an email from Japan.....the next Encore Transformer from Takara is going to be DEVASTATOR!!!

I'm not that much of a TF collector and am most definitely not a fan of the Michael Bay films, but knowing that I'll be adding this behemoth to my toy collection later in the year has made me giddy today!

Any pics would be appreciated!

Just received this follow-up email from my supplier in Japan:

How are you supposed to sell it then?

I can list it I guess, but just can't show any pics of what it looks like......and given most TF fans know what a G1 Devastator looks like, I can't see this being too much of an issue.

So is it an updated version or an exact replica of a G1?

It's part of the Encore Series.....so an exact replica of the G1.

I really can't understand why Takara don't want the images released as every TF fan knows what it'll look like. I think it is the packaging itself that Takara don't want peoples to see.

Have to agree with Bolo....only a matter of time before images are 'leaked'.

I think tformers.com has a pic, it looks like the japanese version of packing which is very nice indeed.
