I wish there was more info, I email the distributor about once a month on them and they don't know. I can't even lock in how many cases I want to order (Although I think the bigger retailers get first crack) But for something Due out in the next 1-2 months they should get cracking.

I have a feeling that it going to be a Standard Jazwares release where TRU gets the bulk of the first shipment (Or even exclusitivity) and then they have a secondary shipment much later to everywhere else. (They done that with Sonic and Robot Chicken)

Thats a bugger then isn't it! I thought th 6 inch figs were due in June weren't they?

Maybe they aren't posting up pics or info so there will be less critics on them? who knows...!

The robots look great, the ninjas..... not so much.

Still, this is 4 inch so I guess they may be ok.

Guess when they are put beside the larger figs and shown, they will look better for their size

Got the 6" on the way from overseas, so I'm hoping they are decent in person. A lot of negativity is around them at teh moment!

They have shown Rain - Prince of Edenia:

Don't know anything about this guy.

Saw a little info on the MK wiki

With the 2 Ninja Bodies they should be able to pump out

Mortal Ninjas
Sub Zero (He's your Batman of the line you can get 4-8 variations from him)
Scorpion (2 versions, Normal & Fire Head)
Reptile (2-3 Versions Normal, Reptial Head, Clear Veriation)
Smoke (2-3 Versions. Normal, CLear, weird hair etc)
Noob (2 Versions)
Ermac
Rain
Kenshi
Chameleon
Monster

Cybernetic Ninjas
Cyrax
Smoke
Sektor
Sub Zero

Add the one Female Bod for the Girls and you get
Scarlett
Jade
Melina
Kintana
Nitara
Tanya
Khameleon
Frost

That's like 20-30 figures from 3 and I sure there are others as this series has used multipul palet swaps over the years but thats just of the top of my head.

There is so many charactures that you could mix parts with once you have done only 5-6 molds like Kano, Lui Kang. (Practicly every one out of MK4 was a mish-mash) Hell even use some of the upcoming Street Fighter as Kobra is basicly Ken.

lol its scary to think 3 molds could do that many, but the glory that is palette swapping !

Mine are on the way from overseas, but damn well took a week before they posted the damn things, man that ticks me off !

Still holding my breath on this though, i REALLKY want to like them. The guy on fwoosh did some photos, but they are smaller than the old jazwares, which sucks cuz they wont really fit in. I hated how sota started changin sizes at the end of their line in revolutions bits. Dan hibiki looked so bad i made a custom from ryu and put that head on him!

Bring on the ladies though, want a generic set if nothing else in teh MK2 stuff

While I would prefer Sonya first, it would be good to get the lady ninjas going.

I'm just not sure what their views on the girl figures are yet. I guess we'll wait & see if any appear in the second waves.

I wonder if they will show any new figures at SDCC?

....so sad..
...I was going to buy both MK's & Streetfighters.... I shall get none
Funny all of the troubles SOTA had to get approval for certain figures yet capcom are happy for these to be released.....surely the ones released for sale at least would have skin coloured joints right?

I reviewed the first of the 6"ers over on Poe Ghostal's Points of Articulation - http://www.poeghostal.com/2011/08/guest-review-sub-zero-scorpion-raiden-mortal-kombat-6-series-1-jazwares.html - I liked them a lot, though the paint and lack of accessories hurts them a little. Still, I definitely want more! Want a full roster of MK characters to go head-to-head with the SOTA Street Fighters on my shelf..

Well, its kinda cool that they tried to do some scaling with them at least. Not sure, I'll reserve judgement for when I see bigger pics and their posing.

I tried to use Jazwares customer service form, to ask if new figures other than scorpian, sub, raiden, will be available.

Honestly, they are a bunch of di*ks who dont read the question being asked.

They kept trying to tell me they dont sell on their website, to contact zoofy in florida, NOTHING to do with what I was asking.

Finally they understood, but basically said they dont know.

So i have zero faith in Jazwares making any more six inch figures.

Personally, I like the ones I got, and would get more if they were released, but seriously their customer service sucks, and their lack of communication skills is deplorable.

end rant.

From my very small dealing with Jazwares they really arn't set up for anything bar make the toys. When I first contacted them they directed me to Zoofy. 99% of anything I get in information I get directly from my sales rep at Zoofy. Zoofy seem to both know more and do handle Customer service properly. Which reminds me to contact my sales rep and ask where are my MK toys.

Its just seems wrong though that an actual form used to ask Jazwares questions only got me speaking to people would can't read or have basic comprehension.

Were you getting a Johnny Cage in your allotment Stuart? It seems that it was out, but only in the UK or something random like that. Even with the big ears head on him, I would still have nabbed it, but I really dont think its going to take off somehow, but i HOPE I'm wrong !

Cage was found in the UK & the full set of 4 could be ordered from Forbidden Planet.

http://www.thefwoosh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=63098&start=390

I don't think he appeared at all in the US.

The only Cage I see on eBay is from France, & the seller does not ship internationally.

He'll probably show up with the second wave.

Assuming we get a 2nd wave. Its received so much negativity perhaps J.wares wont care to try selling them.

Mind you, considering that scorp and sub seem sold out most online places I've visited, it SHOULD have been successful enough.

Man, I dunno. I want em! But they make it so gosh darn awkward.

lol at the pic of cage, its the ONLY pic i have seen of him other than promo shots.

It would be nice if they could atleast issue a statement on the status of Cage.

I don't dislike these figures as much as others. I really hope we get further assortments.

What's the deal with cage? I saw 2 of them today $25 each along with the others in that wave.
Should I grab them if I can for you guys?
I'm not posting where I saw them until I get a yay or a nay from you guys as I don't want anybody else to get him if he is hard to find.

I have Johnny & Scorpion on the way from Germany. Mad Laughing

But I would definately love Sub Zero & Raiden if you could pick them up.

I don't know if Cage was recalled or not. He seems to have been released in Europe & Australia.

I contacted Jazwares last week & asked them what the go was with Cage. They told me to contact their Aussie distributor (who's name I can't remember now). The Aussie girl said that the assortment including Cage had been sent out to Gamemasters stores (I think it was Gamemasters). She did say if I didn't have any luck getting them I should get back in contact with her. It is nice when people are helpful!
