Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides figures at TRU.

Found these yesterday and THEY ARE UGLY! Never the less, I would have still picked up the Black Beard figure to use his body for a custom, but they cost $30 each. Way too much for such a sub-par figure.

The lego sets for these are out as well and the pricing is right up there, thankfully Target have 20% lego starting today so I might pay a visit, I wouldnt mind a little capt jack lego fig

I need the Lego ship but I don't think it's been released yet...

Is this the smaller more articulated figures or the bigger less articulated figures? or both?

These were the big ones. I did see something else. It was a ship or something to go with the smaller ones, but no small figures.

Saw the Lego ship today at Toys R Us and Target.

Yeah Target have it, Queen Annes Revenge down from $199 to $150 at the moment, I'm still undecided on them, the prices are getting up there and there arent a lot of parts in there.

I know this is just the latest in a long line of this crap, but is anyone else really disturbed by the cost of toys, like, in general? The Aus dollar is worth a lot more than the US dollar and yet we're paying more than double for a lot of stuff - especially stuff as crappy as these new awful POTC figures..

It's the same across the board for anything entertainment related, really.

It isn’t the retailers fault. It’s the importers. I am wondering if this was a contributing factor at Kmart’s decision not to carry many licensed toys anymore.

Buy online. It’s still cheaper from the states then what we pay here.
