SDCC 2011 Reveals

Post by TheCollector on Fri Apr 29, 2011 8:31 am

From It'sAllTrue.net:

Attack of the Show’s Andy Allo met up with Mattel’s very own Scott Neitlich (aka ToyGuru) to find out what exclusives Mattel has planned for San Diego Comic-Con 2011 including Marlena, Cringer, Kilowog, a Carol Ferris Barbie, Polly Pocket She-Ra, & DCUC Swamp Thing! The exclusive video is available after the jump…

I have bought every other DCUC SDCC exclusive so I probably will again. I am now holding out hope that we could eventually see John Constantine as an SDCC exclusive.

I think I am done with DCUC, I don't even want the ones I have (except for the exclusives) so the only remaining figures I would like to see don't even reside in the DCU;

Jesse Custer
Saint of Killers
John Constatine
Spider Jerusalem

I would be a giddy school girl if either of those were anounced

That deathstar set with figures would be cooler if :

1/ was an actual plastic deathstar
2/ it was an actual plastic deathstar.

3/ see above.

I would love something about a third bigger than a basketball size for a deathstar with working tractor beam LED stobes and opening bays for micromachine type toys !!

Why, I would use my force powers of course to keep in perpetual suspension above the coffee table in my lounge of course! =-) Isn't that the logical choice? ;-)

Although Sam's answer is clearly the obvious choice, as an alternative you could always hang it from the roof with some fishing line.

It's just like the Lego Emperor's Shuttle set - cool, the wings fold down but unless you build your own stand/hang it from the roof, you can't really utilise it fully.

Got in some eBay pre-orders for Marlena, the Polly She-Ra set & the 2 versions of G.I.Joe Zarana.

Figure I can swing the Indie set next week, Stay Puft the week after & I'll be set. Most of it will be coming from the same person, so that should save a bit on shipping.

I wish the Doctor Who people would reveal their 5" exclusive. I believe some thought it may be the classic Peri in pink we saw pics of recently.

Only 3 or so weeks to go!
