So ... he's such a swell guy that he saves Beast-Man's life, but then he teams up with the Evil Warriors? I don't see baddies doing random heroic acts.

And does every evil doer have to be under a spell of some kind? Is there anyone in the Evil Warrior or Horde ranks who hasn't been tampered with by some kind of a magic spell?

Anyway, he's an easy pass for me. The 200X Clawful is really cool, but I'm just not liking the more "cartoon" like appearance of the MOTUC Clawful.

Cheers.

Very cool indeed ! I think the head is a compromise that pulls it off well enough, but no doubt about it, those stactions are incredibly menacing ! Great stuff indeed !

Those claws look nasty!!

So when do we get Jitsu and Fisto figures? They are the ones I want most next thats not annoused AFAIK?

Like him a lot, especially the detail around the neck, so, unlike the vintage figure, it doesn't look like a crab head just plopped onto a human body.

They were saying something about his shell shield thingy attaching on his back, right?

I'm looking forward to him... definitely one of the guys I played with a ton as a kid. Very Happy

Unfortunately, I have been pretty burnt out on MOTUC lately so I don't really care for this bio either way.

Mind you, Clawful is not that high on my most wanted list so I guess that is why I don't care. But I usually love he bios either way

I love Clawful, muppet eyebrows and all. And yes, I took am glad that they did the neck like they did, making his head look less mask-like overall as a result.

As for the bio, they're just curiosities for me pretty much, so I don't care what they say too much, however just how many evil characters has Lyn's spells been at least partly responsible for unleashing at this point? Laughing

And I guess I'm kinda brainwashed by the cartoons over the years, because I just can't picture Clawful as 'keen warrior and strategist'. Laughing

I just love all the baddies! And Clawful is looking terrific. And I do agree with the notion that it would have been super-cool if he came with a bonus 200X head!

Looks/sounds great. Smile

Clicky there is pretty much ideal to me except for the head.

Instead of the 100% vintage toy head that we're getting, my ideal version would be 70% vintage toy...

...20% 200X head:

...and 10% Filmation/Comics/Style guide head:

I can't remember ever seeing Clawful in the cartoon as a kid. I don't like that design at all.

Although he does score points for motor-boating Evil-Lyn

I agree Simmo, how they've done him is perfect, and for me whiplash proved the 0X heads are just a gimmick, and don't fit the overall design of the vintage style....

Whiplash also proved that it's possible to remain faithful to the original toy design, while vastly improving it.

Whiplash's vintage head was a great update, not just a copy.

I find it unfortunate that neither Buzz-Off, or Clawful were as lucky.

I'd have preferred the 200X head... don't get me wrong, loved the original... just not sure how crablike thick eyebrows and a Two-Face smile are... whereas 200X version seemed very crabtastic to me.

I wonder what the actual costs of providing both heads are... strikes me that only a few characters really benefit from having the option, where they underwent fairly dramatic redesigns, and collectors might want to pick an era for their look.

The vintage figure looks like a mexican wrestler with a claw hand, not a huge fan of the big cartoon eyes but a still a cool looking figure.... I like how the bio states his name is pronounced through a series of claw clicks....yet they don't actually try to write his name.......unless that sentence is his name......
