Wow. It's a cool set and that's a great price.

I saw Myer Garden City (WA) had them for $200 Shocked

Re: Classics

Apparently series 2, with Bebop and Rocksteady and re-issues of the turtles, has been delayed until September 2013 for a US release.

Saw Baxter Stockman at TRU today. Underwhelming. Razz

Wouldn't mind Leatherhead if I can find him.

I'll definitely grab Anchovy Alley if I see it around.

Still need Leo & Mikey to complete my Classics. If anyone see's them around..think of ol' Artistix. Wink

Soooo many at TRU Chadstone last night, you don't need to worry about a shortage.

Well, I put myself down for Bebop and Rocksteady at King's this week. Although, I haven't heard about these arriving anywhere else so I'm not going to relax until I have them in hand.

BBTS has apparently been told by Playmates, not to ship outside the US (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=PLM11335&mode=retail)
... so I take that as a good sign that they will show up at TRU here eventually, like the first series.

BBTS did that with the first series, but they were available internationally on Amazon. I'm hopeful that Bebop and Rocksteady will be similarly available.

Also, toynewsi.com has a few photographs of the movie Leonardo proto-type:

Interestingly enough, Snakeweed, Baxter Stockman and Leatherhead are shipped internationally by Amazon in the Nick line. Yet all other TMNT figures are not (although as XP said, they were when first released).

I knew it was too good to be true. King's just rang me to tell me that... somehow... the promised Bebop and Rocksteady figs were not in their case pack.

Sad

I have to say. I was pretty skeptical given that no one else was getting these for another few months!

Anyone chasing the original 4, looks like the dodgy Asian market has their hands on them: http://stores.ebay.com.au/buy-from-Mr-lee/TMNT-/_i.html?_fsub=3446471016&_sid=1099213656&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

I'm sorely tempted by the repaints of NECA's four turtles with the cartoon coloured bandanas!

If they had a yellow April O'Neil repaint, I don't think I would be able to resist!

A fan living in Shanghai received an early release Bebop and Rocksteady.

They look good, BUT they're missing ankle articulation which makes the ball-jointed hips and double-knees of questionable value. Not to mention being inconsistent with the more articulated turtles.

Does anyone know when Bebop and Rocksteady will be available? Or if there is anywhere to get them now? I can't wait for them to hit TRU because I don't have one near by and they never have this stuff available online Sad
I've had a look at Amazon but can't find any that can be shipped here.

No idea. I emailed Playmates a while ago to see if they knew if they would be released in Australia, but I never heard back.

My local comic book store said that they couldn't order them because they were a "store exclusive". IF they are a store exclusive, I'm guessing that store is TRU and I'm also guessing that they won't be ordering any more "Classic Collection" figures until they sell through all the turtles which are currently peg warming.
