Anyone know if we'll be getting or seen any of the other stuff in stores? Like the Battle Shell Turtles, Ooze Tubes and Turtle Comm.
Also is Aus supposed to be getting the TMNT Lego? I can't find any info on it.

Went to TRU in Penrith today. Saw all the Classics & nicktoon figures.

Nearly picked up a few classics & the Wagon thing, but didn't have enough cash. Gotta go back mid March anyway.

Between the TRU store & also Big W & Target at Westfield, I must have looked at a thousand Turtle figures....not ONE April! the only figure I need. Shake Fist

@ RhiGhost

I'm not sure anyone will be able to answer you.

I would guess it is unlikely we will ever see a huge range of TMNT products in Australia due to a combination of lack of retailer interest in action figures in general, limited shelf space for action figures in most stores and minimal exposure/brand awareness since the cartoon is only screening on Pay TV (to my knowledge).

If there is something you really want to add to your collection, you may want to source it from the US. Alternatively, you could try contacting Playmates directly or you may want to wait a while since the first series of action figures have only been on our shelves for a few weeks, so a wider variety of products may be on their way.

@ Artistix

I haven't seen April O'Neil anywhere either. It's another case of the "girl action figures don't sell" mentality I guess.

@ Artistix

I saw heaps of Aprils last week. I don't get to the shops often but I can have a look for you again if you want?

Let me know here or on TheFwoosh (I am more active there)

Yeah, for some reason Queensland only has 6 stores in the state.
Thanks for that Artistix, I'm going to visit some family next weekend in Brisbane so I might see if I can sneak away for a TRU shop, fingers crossed they have some.

It will look like a pile of melted plastic, because I'll be sticking my "Megan Fox as April O'Neil" in he mircowave on "HIGH" for 60 minutes as an act of retribution against Bay and Fox and everyone else for ruining the Adult Alien Ninja Turtles!

Unless it's 6" scale and Megan Fox's blow-up doll like features work well with the TMNT Retro Classics action figures.

Re: TMNT 2012 Sewer Playset

I spotted this in the latest Mr Toys Toyworld catalogue for $129!

Given that the action figures are almost double the price in the US, I'm pleasantly surprised to see that the playset is only an extra $20 to $40 more than the US price.

Picked up the Sewer Playset today from Toys for Kids in Rockingham. Was priced at $150 but scanned at $130 so was pretty happy to find this in store.

Awesome Joel! I bought mine from the States. Cost about $200 with postage.

I grabbed the Shellraiser & some Classic Turtles in TRU the other day.

This Wednesday I am going into Big W to get my nicktoon series 1 set off lay-by.

Haven't opened any of the nicktoon stuff yet. Waiting till I have it all here. Can't wait to open the Sewer!

Put it together this morning... it's almost as tall as my 4 year old (and he's tall for his age).

No idea where to put it, though. Razz

TRU has the SDCC 2012 Exclusive Night Shadow Leonardo for $30.00 in their latest catalogue.

It's this repaint of the standard TMNT 2012/Nick Leonardo:

Anyone know if there's a deal anywhere to get at least the 4 turtles new for less than $15 each, or alternately the entire first 9 of Wave 1 for an improved price ($10-15 each)?

I've seen $20 at Minotaur, $14.99 at my local Woolworths, and $14.86 at Big W - but I don't want to commit unless I can get all four turtles at least, at once.

^^^^

Can you not find all four turtles in the same store? I would probably just buy what you can find, keep them packaged with the receipt and in the worst case scenario, if you cannot complete all four turtles, return the ones you did buy for a refund.

They seem to be selling pretty well, so I would expect to see restocks (although it may be of variants instead of the standard figures).

Or maybe try Ebay? For example:

Have decided just to get the Turtles themselves @ <$15 - to align with my NECA set, and the Classic Collection series of which I have the four turtles from each.

Still to get Donatello.

Saw an email from TRU that they're having a TMNT sale which means I'm going to have to brave Chadstone if my local Woolworths doesn't put out a new case!
