@Mahzian The new Nickelodeon figures will have an assortment with shells that open for stashing weapons.

A mate of mine who works for a t.r.u in Melbourne said they have the classics figures in stock for $20 Smile

Ohhhh thanks for the heads up, I still need me a Raph and Don!

Also the open shell idea is pretty cool, I guess it's a decent trade off for having a "heavy" figure

Picked up some classic turtles tonight from Garden City TRU, rung in at $25 each (still a great price imo). They still had 3-4 of each turtle left, happy hunting Smile

Did you happen to see if they had any TDKR Movie Masters left? Specifically Catwoman?

Ah didn't have a look at those sorry Xen, was running short on time, the last time I saw TDKR MM there was a few months ago, I was thinking of getting them for the Batsignal

No worries. I just thought I would ask as I don't have a TRU near me, so wanted to know whether it would be worth a drive.

Got my classic Turtles today, they are awesome. The hand articulation is a bit clunky, but apart from that they are really cool.

Glad you guys are enjoying them! Smile

Here's my take shameless promotion on the TMNT Classics, who I ranked 7th in my best of 2012:

@MAN - Yeah, I love the new show so much I'd say it's my fave show on TV right now.

The new 6" Classics turned up in my TRU today. No sign of the 4" series though.

Some great new photos of Bebop and Rocksteady from toyark.com:

Also, the basic Nick/2012 figures are $14.00 at Target at the moment. They appeared to have everyone except for April O'Neil. And oddly, my local K-Mart had everyone except for April O'Neil as well.

I saw the TMNT Van at K-Mart for $49 and put off getting it because I have a TRU gift card for $50. TRU finally gets the van in and it's $65. WTF??

Yeah TRU are infamous for having high prices, I'm waiting for them to have a Lego sale so I can grab the DC Funhouse at a reasonable price!

I've only seen Wave 1 in stores.

And that was only in the last couple of weeks. It might be a while before we see Wave 2. That's IF we see Wave 2!

No. In the US, it was an exclusive at Toys R Us for a limited amount of time (maybe the first six months of its release). It's possible it could be a TRU exclusive down under too.

Alternatively, given our mark-ups (i.e. the figures are almost twice the price), perhaps no retailer thinks they will be able to sell a $200+ playset that doesn't have "Barbie" in its name.

The new pop-up display sets look far superior to me. And IF we get them down under, they should only be about $40.00.

Seems like the first assortments didn't have the Kraangs. Went to my local TRU and they now have them on the shelf. Again only 2 per case of 24 though.

I did ask TRU if they'd match their $64.99 Shellraiser van with K-Mart's $49.99 and they did so I got to use my $50 gift card. Woohoo!

I've seen lots of Kraang action figures, but no April O'Neil action figures.

Weird assortments!
