Mattel Movie Masters

Post by Artistix on Tue Mar 15, 2011 10:57 am

Anyone else glad to see the Dark Knight line is continuing?

Gordon looks pretty good.

Thought I might use the spare Bruce to make a suited Bruce Wayne, but you need to buy an extra Ghostbusters Walter Peck to make him look movie accurate. Might wait a while & see if Mattel make one.

I would like to see a suited maskless Scarecrow too.

Did they do a Batmobile for this line?

I'm 99.9% they didn't do a Batmobile, but I have a vague recollection that they did a Batcycle.

I have a Batman and Joker, but that's it. I never saw Two-Face and Scarecrow in Australia, otherwise I may have picked them up. IF Mattel continues to make Movie Masters for the third film, then it will be hard to pass on a MM Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Bane (not to mention any other allies or villains which have yet to be revealed).

The Gordon is a cool figure, but I'm not fussed on the BDSM Batman that you have to buy to get Gordon.

Cheers.

Oh yeah, it will be awesome to see MM figures for the upcoming film!

Gordon's glasses look a bit oversized, but he is a nice inclusion.

Mattel released a Batmobile with a Batpod release feature didn't they? I'm pretty sure I have it. It was basically the Batmobile from the Batman Begins line with the Batpod inside it.

I believe that Batmobile is from the Dark Knight mass retail line, not the Move Masters line. Still probably good scale to stand next to, but not sure if the MM figures would fit in it.

There was a Batpod though: http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_102208a.htm
