From ToyGuru over at the Org:

Sub sales will actually be open all night to account for any time zone issues. We'll give you guys the verdict in the am. But in all honesty, we are really there guys! This weekend got a huge boost and sales have been strong all day. I was definately concerned due to such a decrease out the gate. We won't be in "line extension or expansion" mode, but as far as the bare min to move forward at least with 2013 as planned, the fans really stepped up and I hope to have great news in the am!

^^^^

A BIG "well done" and "thank you" to all the subscribers for helping MOTUC to continue for another year.

I hope to do my part by buying during the "day of sales" and taking any unwanted POP figures off the hands of subscribers.

I must admit, after what felt like lacklustre SDCC reveals, I'm getting more and more excited for the 2013 sub and glad I got on board after initially deciding to pass.

Also rumour that ToyGuru has hinted Horde Troopers will be released next year, which gives me a proper nerd semi (full nerd boner reserved for if/when Modulok is released).

How much tooling would Modulok take, though? Sad
Horde Troopers would be so awesome!! I am hanging out for them as a new army builder.

Question - how many of you subscribed specifically because of Scott's appeal, and all the follow up videos saying that the line was in trouble and that they need more subs?

No, I'd bought well before that - was always intending to get MOTUC and DC sub. Passed on Watchmen.

Well, the people over on He-Man.Org contributed around 1000 alone, so I'd say 10k is possible.

Someone on He-Man.org suggested they have "very good authority" that it's around 7,000 to 10,000.

Shocka wrote:Question - how many of you subscribed specifically because of Scott's appeal, and all the follow up videos saying that the line was in trouble and that they need more subs?

While I was initially planning to buy on the day, I was moreso inclined to sub because of the claims that stock on the day may not happen at all. Ultimately, I wasn't going to skip much (the Foe Men I would have passed on) so I felt I was better off signing up. I'm never comfortable with the sub, though, particularly with the way some months are just loaded. I know we're told ahead of time for the most part, but sometimes budgets just get butthurt by something out of the blue.

Woo Hoo!

Well done to all the subscribers! I can't wait for Netossa and the other "vintage POP" that is meant to be released in 2013 (rumoured to be Castaspella). Not to mention the rumours of Two-Bad and Octavia!

Geldor beat Illumina by 30 votes. Both characters got a lot more votes than other choices.

People who rushed in for subs over the last few days did not get to vote. Over theses days the sub buys went from 91% to 135% of needed.

And here are the results of the 2013 MOTUC Fan's Choice Figure vote:

1st place: Geldor (by under 30 votes!)
2nd place: Illumina
3rd place: Trap Jaw
4th place: Green Demon
5th place: Songster
6th place: Evil Lyn
7th place: Kahn
8th place: Marlena

I kept telling myself i wouldn't care if it didn't happen...

its horrible when you lie to yourself isn't it?

I'm very happy that its a goer, its my favourite line at the moment, the only toy line that has me making displays and whatnot for it, so I'm heartily looking forward to seeing what are the other figures projected for the upcoming year!

btw anyone else still waiting on spikor with regualr shipping type? I
