I bought one too. Had a look at the eBay prices for the same to justify the Mattel price.

Might give it to my wife to give to me as a Birthday present - absolve myself of buyer's guilt that way.

Only Lobo I've ever read was his appearance vs Wolverine in Marvel vs DC.

But from the photos it looks like an excellent figure and I'm really jazzed about the DC UC. They've replaced Marvel Legends in generating my action figure fanjoy.

$4.00 Tax?

So that will be a total of $19.55 to ship a $20.00 MOTU figure to Australia?

Bummer. Definitely just going to be He-Man, Skeletor, She-Ra (if made) and Hordak (if made) for me then.

Cheers.

I don't think the shipping is too unreasonable, though it will depend on the product. The Giganta JLU two pack has a shipping of US$9.95. I've been using this as my benchmark and assuming that the Lobo figure is approximately the size/weight of 2 normal figures. So the upcoming DCUC two-packs would be about $35 shipped ($40 with tax), which is doable to me.

I have no idea what the tax thing is all about. Maybe if we write into them they may look into it/waive it.

$40.00 for a two-pack is decent value.

$40.00 for a single figure is not (IMHO). I can't remember the last figure I paid $40.00 or more for . . . . probably 20th Anniversary Prime.

From what little I've read (mainly on the he-man.org forums), no-one else purchasing the figures outside of the US mentioned any additional taxes.

I guess there's a chance King Grayskull's packaging pushed the shipping higher than what it will be for the regular figures (although you couldn't actually buy it, you could calculate the shipping on the figure to Australia - I was totally fooled into thinking I could purchase one from the site).

Cheers.

I wonder when the 2-pack will be up for sale. I might take a punt and see if I can source a Lobo while in Denver - might ship to the hotel.
