Off to Yo Joe

Ooh, that's a cool one. I like the little bike that comes out of it.

I don't know if I've ever owned any kind of hovercraft.

Kinda reminds me of the cancelled G.I. Joe vs Transformers statue line that had Baroness and Ravage, as well as Prime with Snake Eyes from a few years back...

It or something similar. the sabretooth tiger that came with Marvel Legends Kazar had a similar look and feel, and Im sur was repurposed from the S6 series. It WAS a different body to Timber, who was the only other S6 animal released (TMK)

Did they ever make any kind of medical evac vehicle?

I was just thinking it would be cool to have something for the medics to cruise around in.

Yuppers Screamy, got that a few weeks ago. Was decent price but shipping was more than the toy! I tried to make teh most of it by getting a devilfish with it, which is such a cool little orange boat LOL.

It is HUGE though, I could barely fit it through the door.... of my display case. ;-) But very cool. Not as cool as finding a Terrordrome though.

Or a TMNT turtle blimp. I still want one of those for some weird reason.... a BLIMP!

As for a medic, why not grab one of those black hawk's from Toyworld / TRU that are kinda check and Joes scale and repaint that. I thought those looked pretty good!

ALso the armours that BRavo team? Come out with are cool, but I only ever see the Bradley tanks, and I wanted one of the Abrahms. I see them at Kmart . Anyone seen the Abrahms around ?

See they're to real for me, which I know sounds silly. i like this kind of sweet spot between a real tank/chopper and a fantasy craft. Its why I love stuff like the Tomahawk.

Just bought the Cobra Ninja Strike Team set on eBay, the one from a few years ago.

It has a really nice Storm Shadow in it...atleast I like him.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the Vypra's. They don't seem to have anything to do with the original Vypra...so why re-use the name?

To me, they will simply be the Arishikage twins.

It's interesting that twins, like Aussies, generally seem to be bad guys in Joe! Very Happy

Its the penal colony in us that makes it so! ! ;-)

Was thinking a pythona ?sp? custom based on the movie could be cool.. on an unrelated note. =-)

I kinda thought the Tomahawk was a bit more real, never saw the fantasy aspect, but I DEFINATLY see it in things like Destros stuff, the Maggot etc etc man they have some warped ideas, BUT cool ! =-)

I have been on a GI Joe kick lately.

The 25th anniversary figures is what got me in to toy collecting to begin with (as an adult) but I lost interest during RoC.

Pursuit of Cobra brought me back as these are awesome but now I have some huge holes in my collection that I am trying to fill.

I am also buying the Sideshow 12inch figures. They are pretty cool but damn expensive

So far I have avoided the 12inch mostly due to price, but space also. I did cave however on the viper! that guy is a thing of awesome beauty!

Too bad retail isn't really catering for them around here much. I import 99% of my joes from the States. Only stuff I ever find locally are the movie figs, and Im not that sold on most of them

Good fun though

I have just spent over $100 in 2 days on figures I have been missing and I would have spent more but some sellers take the piss when it comes to shipping a loose figure.

Is there a group order on here for GI Joes? I know that would save a lot of money

I am a bit of a fan of GI Joe dioramas and dio stories. One of the best I have seen is a dio story by Violentfix. Unfortunately, he never finished it but, in my opinion, it was very well done.

If anyone is interested his stories can be found here

Read the Oktober Guard story, very cool!
Thanks for the link Fallen.

I have a few 12" Joes on the way. DC characters Blackhawk, Mademoiselle Marie & Miss Fear. Really looking forward to them...certainly something different.
