GI Joe

Some nice new figs shown for GI Joe.

Renegades Duke was one of my faves, though all the Renegades toys look good.

Scream Man & myself were pretty stoked to see the Skystriker being released again:

And Zarana is being added to the 25th line as an SDCC exclusive with variant:

I'm enjoying the Renegades animation and the toys look great. Trying really hard to stay away ... no display space and I need to save cash.

Yeah, I don't have much room left but I may have to buy a few of the Renegaeds figures. Hopefully they make that vehicle the team drive around in.

Any idea if Zaranna will be available to actual people not attending show?

I hope so, but I guess until Zandar makes an appearance I could wait till i get em, its always been one of the ' i should make a custom of these guys, loved em growing up' but never got past the 'I should' stage.

Im tending to pre order cases from BBTS these days, as they seem hit n miss in stores abroad. A friend picks up extras though from stores when needed, ebay just costs too much!

I was saying to Scream Man recently, it is odd that Zandars only figure is his vintage figure!

We have a heap of Zartan's (ofcourse), & even several Zarana's. But Zandar receives the least love. I gather he is less prominent in various media than his brother & sister.

I will be buying both Zarana's. Hopefully her face stays that nice. That's the best female Joe face I have seen since the movie figures.

lol, it could be his uncanny ability of 'not being noticed' that has prevented us getting a new figure of him, but as a kid he was my fav, so much so that i had to repair a broken knee with a nail LOL.

Are thy gonna be available to buy for normalish type prices though? I thought they would be a bit 'holy grail;?

Here and there, but for the most part its easier to get em online. U can actually get them relatively cheap; I built a decent sized collection for about $300 over christmas

Only try if you have mastered the art of using credit with your nostrils, as Im sure you will be paying through the nose for it!

Looks cool, but Im more stoked personally with the normal coloured one ~!

Managed to score a Cobra Moray hyrdofoil off ebay a couple of weeks ago, man o man did they do a lot with those old toys detail wize! Engine covers, lamps, rifles, more covers, hatches, so freakin awesome LOL. Needs a bit of a clean up though!

I don't mind the Starscream version, but don't like it enough to buy it over the regular version.

Now if we could just get them to re-release the Flagg!! Razz

Ditto. I remember a couple of cousins building something similar for me out of styrofoam etc. when I was youngster. It wasn't perfect but it did the job.

Now where would you lads actually PUT a Flagg? ??? I cant say I can see any room left from your pictures u have shown Screamy, those xwings takingu p so much space hehe.

I would love to say ' have a winch system that drops down from the ceiling and can have the figures all set up and it just hides away'

but that is just a pipe dream.

Hmmmmm, why not have peeps put some of their joe collection pics on here ? Just one or two? Be interesting too see for sure. =-)

Just a couple of shelf pics, these aren't 'displayed' as such, more ' i can fit them there until the display is made for the time being..'

scuse the dust !!

Those are the 25th anni figs I put some timber strip along the wall and hooked them on with taks, quite effective way to show off their cool artworks!

Most the vintage figs are in plastic boxes along with all the other vehicles like hisstanks flak cannons etc etc, but hope to make one wall a set of long shelves behind glass for them all!

*man there's a lot of dust....*

I think you are referring to the ROC ATV?:

Oh, & I saw over at Hisstank the official word is that the upcoming blue attire 25th Cobra trooper is not a female.
