Oh sweet!
I hope they get Dave Vonner on some of these legends too.
My main concern will be distribution, i'm hoping these will actually make it out to australia..
What do you think about X:Men First Class not getting a toy line?

Could be good.

I hope Hasbro make them available online in a similar manner to mattycollector.com (but without the extremely limited stock and frustrations associated with ordering).

I'm not that surprised there will not be an action figure line for X-Men: First Class. Hopefully there will be plenty of mutant representation in ML and MU.

I'm definitely surprised that there hasn't been any news of an Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes action figure line based on the cartoon. I thought Hasbro may have tried to replucate JLU (and the new Young Justice) produced by Mattel for their own cartoon series.

Cheers.

True thats interesting..
I think their reason for not having a toyline for First Class and Earths Mightiest heroes is due to the emphasis on the movie stuff like Thor And Captain America... And 2012 will supposedly be the "Year of the spider-man" I think they'll go all out with that, the spider-man franchise always generates alot of money.
I hope we get the new Iron Man figures cause we're getting
War Machine The initative, Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man.

Hasbro has a lot on their plate for 2011:
Thor,
Captain America,
Transformers 3.

Plus they now have Sesame Street.....a license which will probably make them more money that the three lines I listed above COMBINED. Sesame Street and Transformers 3 will take up a significant portion of their resources this year.

I think dropping a line for X-men: First Class gives them more 'characters' to choose from for their Marvel Legends 're-vamp'. If Marvel Legends doesn't end up as an online only line (like MOTU) then I'd expect Australia to get maybe the first couple of waves.....then the line will die, because ultimately sales will not meet expectation due to a high price point.

I'm hoping that hasbro doesn't decide to chuck in a whole lot of movie oriented figures into the first couple of waves like they did last time.
What i'm scared about is that considering there is no X-Men: First class line, they might throw in some chracters in the new legends (Just like last time with all those X3 figures...) Did X-Men 3 have a toyline?
Transformers 3 will be huge, i'm looking forward to the New Prime. Megatron looks abit weird, not sure if i'll pick that up yet.

Oh, and how could I forget Star Wars! Just saw the Hasbro Presentation over at Rebelscum.....there's a LOT planned for 2011 just in Star Wars alone.
About time they did the second Skiff Weequay! I've been waiting 28years for this figure!

I don't think so, just Jean, Beast & Colossus in various ML sets.

Even though i'm 18 i would seriously buy some decent adult oriented Sesame street figures hahaha, wouldn't mind like an oscar the grouch set or something.

Would they make celebrity cameo figures Wink
