TheGoodDr's Customized Ikea Detolf Shelf

My cabinet maker finally finished my custom Ikea Detolf shelf on Xmas Eve. Made from solid jarrah, it's finished to match existing furniture in my lounge/home theatre.



Top Shelf: Actual Prop Used by Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man. Screen seen ARC Reactor Ring Tony Stark is soldering in the cave in Afghanistan.



Second Shelf: Iron Giant Statue recently acquired on my trip to the US with Bolo Musashi. Large Iron Giant is an electronic Money Bank (he eats coins placed in his hand).



Third Shelf: The Hottest Band in the World!



Bottom Shelf: A man called Fett.

That "Mech Test Tony Stark" does look pretty awesome displayed like that.
You have nice wooden floors aswell!

Is that a container of flux next to Tony?

Yeah, that's a flux jar All that stuff sitting on the top shelf (the flux jar, copper wire, brass ring, warhead chip) came with the ARC ring prop & vice.

Dare you to consume that flux tonight.

I'm generally not a fan of anything wood, which is why I like the Detolf as it's mostly glass. But that is damn nice! And I love your display, really classy (though I think Hot Toys needs to release some Kiss gear, those dolls are rather frightening! But I know you like em cuz they're originals )

Nice work, good to see that Iron Giant out and displayed. Are you still chasing some acrylic risers? If so, then I've got some spare one that I can pass on - built some stands/steps over the weekend.
