Apparently the Grand Emporium sets are showing up in David Jones stores now - $250

Be quick though cause reports are they are only getting a few per store

found one in Brisbane city but they wouldn't let me have it Sad they said it can't be sold until the christmas sale which should be starting around Nov 1. I have a feeling though that this will be an occasion of where you go and who you speak to.

I really want that!!

I was walking through Big W the other day & saw the new Harry Potter Hogwarts castle & the Weasley's house 'The Burrow'. Put them both on Lay-by. Something I haven't done in as long as I can remember...but I don't usually see expensive toys I want in my town.

Would Big W or Target get the Emporium?

Chances are they won't, it's usually myer or David jones that get the big sets as an exclusive.

Why on Earth would DJs have them on the shelves if they cannot sell them yet? Honestly, some store policies are just too bizarre to comprehend.

Cheers.

There seems to be a fair bit of Lego, especially Harry Potter Lego, on sale in the new Big W and Myer toy catalogues. From memory, the new castle is around $140.00.

Cheers.

heya guys, went to go check out david jones (brisbane city) on the off chance again yesterday and they had 6 grand emporium sets on the shelf for $250 a pop, was able to put one on layby too. They had about 5 of those big fire stations too that were at myer a few months back (sorry didnt see price).

If you have the spare cash it might be worth buying one from there outright, DJ's charge you $10 for getting a member card (if you dont have one) and then 20% minimum deposit (and you have to make 20% payments every 2 weeks!)

Kmart are putting on clearance the World Racers theme and some Starwars stuff
I picked up 2 of the midi scale Stardestroyer for $35 each much better than the $79 each they were to start with.

Recently I've decided I want to get that Death Star set from a while ago - does anyone have any suggestions as to how to reasonably acquire this? Or should I give up?
