That last pic is funky! Very Happy

I thought maybe blonde Teela will simply be regular Teela with an expanded story on her bio. She could see release in the DC 2-packs...though I personally think it would make more since to include She-Ra with Wonder-Woman. Teela could go with...maybe Black Canary or even Vixen if they want to do something unique.

Re: Art Print

I don't really understand the appeal or purpose of the art prints? Wouldn't something like the convention-exclusive art book sell better?I realise they can't produce more copies of it for whatever stupid reason, but what about a second volume that is NOT produced in extremely limited numbers? Or even just large prints of the box art from Castle Grayskull, Snake Mountain, etc?

Re: Vikor's Girlfriend

Isn't there already a "new" female character from the Pre-Eternia period? A female archer or something that is included on one of the boxes or in one of the comics?

I'd be happy to see blonde, bikini Teela as his partner in heroics. Or even as a female protector of the Sword of He. Or just as a swim-suit edition of Teela.

Cheers.

I really like the idea of having a legacy of he-men, it's a smart move by matty as well because it means they can keep pumping out versions of the same "character" without flooding the line with disco and snake armor versions.

also shameless plug - I'm selling off my motuc doubles here if anyone is chasing any Smile

Wow, less than 4mins is crazy. It took me a good 10mins+ and some people in the States were dealing with WSOds for over an hour.

Yeah, I'm kinda meh about the 2011 releases so far. Don't get me wrong, some integral characters, but nothing standout for me. Making me feel better about passing on the sub even more.

My must haves are the palace guards, which we have to order anyway, and are really a 2010 release, just delayed.

Other than that, Panthor is on top of the list, but not as crucial to me as Battle Cat. And then probably Bo, and that is saying something. King Hsss and SyKlone are very minor characters to me.. never had a great fondness for them, however I will try to get them.

My main desires, character wise, are Man-E-Faces, Fisto, Mekanek, Clawful, Jitsu, Stinkor, and remaining Horde. Hope to see at least a few of those in 2011.

Syclone ay...

Can't say I have an opinion on him. Don't really remember him from the show (though, I barely remember yesterday). I do have 2 of his 200x figures.

Really hoping the female figure in May is Sorceress, though it seems it could just as well be Sweet Bee or other somewhat obscure characters.

Not that I even know if Syclone & Sweet Bee are major players in their shows. I know Mattel trademarked Sweet Bee recently. Think I'll go watch a few episodes of PoP on Youtube...

And some MOTU featuring Syclone...

Add Ram-Man to that and we make a matching pair Jor-El.

Scan of Sy-Clone reveal for anyone that hasn't seen it yet:

I'm a little indifferent towards him to be honest, and I never did like the holographic sticker on his chest, but at least he'll actually be able to hold a weapon this time...

The back rings are a nice nod to 200X as well, though I'm sure they'll be removable for vintage fans as well.

I always thought Sy-Klone had a double meaning....cyclone (obviously) and that he was like a "clone" of He-Man....hence why he looks like him.

I've never really noticed, I thought Sy-Klone had "softer" features and a closed mouth. He always reminded me of a samurai warrior with that helmet.

Sy-Klone looks cool and I had him as a kid, so there is a certain nostaglia factor, but he just doesn't fit with the primarily "barbarian" figures that I've collected to date (and which I always favoured in MOTU).

I'd be more inclined to get Conan rather than Sy-Klone, but it's cool to see some variety in the line. Not sure about him being a robot though. I thought he was from the same race as Keldor?

Cheers.

Hmm... I'm not the biggest Sy-Klone fan in the world... but I think they captured him well.

Any idea if they'll preserve the action feature?

(Also, I think I mighta been one of those guys who got excited about Webstor, he was like my second bad guy when I was a kid, and definitely on my favourites. Very Happy )

Nope, already been confirmed that his waist is like any other regular figure in the line, he doesn't spin.

I believe 'no action features' was a decision made by the fans?

So... Matty/DR's incompetence continues.

My Cyber Monday purchase just cleared on my credit card, and even though the $8 Battle Cat shipping coupon was entered successfully, and on my invoice - actually listed as an addition, not a substaction, after the total - they charged me the full price. No discount.
