international posting from mattycollector

Post by adamatsya on Wed Jul 28, 2010 4:01 am

hi guys,

sorry if this has been discussed before - i searched but couldn't find a straight answer.

how much does matty charge to send things to Australia? Their website is shite at answering this question.

I've got my eye on the DCUC plastic man, but want to know how much before deciding whether to chance the online queues.

cheer

adam

heya, unfortunately Plasticman isn't available for us here in Oz Sad (apparently our customs doesn't allow toys with "wire" in them -_-

On the topic of postage Matty are generally pretty cheap, they have a fast option which costs more and the slow option takes about 4 weeks but is normally about $10 US for one figure if I remember right? Can anyone confirm that?

Sounds about right as a rough guesstimate. But it's a moot point, as you said plastic man is a no go for us. Maybe try eBay.....

I recall they wouldn't ship the original King Grayskull to Oz with the electronics. I said nuts to that & bought a proper version on eBay.

Yep, they wouldn't ship Grayskull to any international locations due to the electronics. I still don't exactly get that, but whatever...

meh that sucks, I hope they don't do that with the next king greyskull, I guess our wonder twins got through with their electronics so maybe (hopefully) they changed their mind about that one

Well the next king Grayskull doesn't have any electronics as it's packaged in the regular clamshell, so that won't be an issue...
