Kmart sale - stock on shelves no laybuy until July 1
Hey All,
Yeah been a long time, I still kick around the place, but never really have much exciting to add.
Was in Kmart today and they had all their sale stuff on the shelves, but with signs that said on sale, but no lay buy until 1 July.
Picked up Sideswipe Human Alliance for 35....BB was still 48 (assume if want to wrestle with them can get for $35). None of the errrrrmmm Green twin car, but was shown in catelogue.
Also of interest the At at Galactic heroes set for 44....looks aweosme...but alas...I try to avoid getting more stuff like that.
Lots of other stuff - http://www.kmart.com.au/Catalogue/Catalogue.aspx?CatalogueID=282&s_kwcid=TC|10047|kmart%20com%20au||S||6022618516
Also I might be wrong, but would recommend having a look at Xbox 360 elite pack with batman lego and Pure prices in your local kmart...THINK THEY MAY POSSIBLY MAYBE COULD BE alot cheaper than you would think...maybe.

Coolness. I see a few items which are must-buys, although I'm still waiting on Big W to release their pricing to see whether they've managed to best K-Mart.
Cheers.

Re: Kmart sale - stock on shelves no laybuy until July 1
wait...so they're sale prices with no laybuy? or generic prices pre-sale because they're too lazy to stock shelves on the 1st?
also, you should post more because you're funny and awesome. but not so awesome when you don't post.
AND i'm bummed...can't do any midnight toy-saling as i'm taking my sister to see eclipse at that precise time.

Re: Kmart sale - stock on shelves no laybuy until July 1
Thanks for the love Sweetest
Work has been crazy for the last 6 months and pounded the funny right out of me.
Yeah as far as I could remember the prices I saw there were the sale prices (except for HA Bumblebee)...that Galactic heroes AT-AT is freakin awesome looking...recommend any GH lovers to nab it.
As for Lego I could not find the huge red and white SW thing, my friend wants to nab it so looked for it specifically.
Another thing is if you are gamers hopefully you have gone to Game, Dick Smith (and steam for PCers) tonnes of insanely awesome prices on video games.

Sweet, I'll have to get to a Game tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. I want to nab a copy of NBA 2K10 at a decent price to tide me over 'til next season starts proper.

went to a game, eb and jb in the city (syd) today and couldn't even find 2K10 in eb or game. the problem with eb is their sales are like *take all stock out, bring sale stock in and throw it haphazardly at the shelves* its like a sneeze of games.
anyway, i managed to pick it up at jb for $49 which isnt too bad.

Well, considering the fact that I own over 230 games, over 100 of which I've never played/finished, and have only had 2 days off in the last 3 weeks, no.ragericho wrote:Wow Droothr great prices ! you got the time to play all of them?

Re: Kmart sale - stock on shelves no laybuy until July 1
Grabbed a Thinkway Bullseye (Toy Story) from K-Mart on the weekend for $49.00. All the other Thinkway figures were their regular prices (rather than $49.00 which is the "sale" price). The quality control was poor, but I managed to find a good version.
I'm planning on grabbing Rex on Thursday. I just wish I hadn't paid $100.00 each for Woody and Buzz six months ago. I had no idea they would end up half-price right at the same time the movie was released.
Cheers.

Yeah, we waited, and my son had his own Woody when we went to watch the movie, he sleeps with all of them in bed with him, even Buzz! Great prices atm!Xenaphobia wrote:Grabbed a Thinkway Bullseye (Toy Story) from K-Mart on the weekend for $49.00. Re: Kmart sale - stock on shelves no laybuy until July 1
^^^^ They're fantastic prices. Almost "dollar for dollar" with the US which happens very rarely.
It looks like Target are getting in stock of the Thinkway "collection" Jessie (also for $50.00) which K-Mart isn't stocking, so it will be good to have a complete "screen-accurate" (or close to it) collection (with the exception of the aliens which remain grossly over-priced at TRU and Hamm which is a Disney Store exclusive).
Cheers.

Damnit, Hamm is a Disney Store exclusive? He's the only one I'm missing - is there a way to import him that wont cost me a lung?

Depends how much lungs are going for on the black market. Hamm is $19.50 (US) on the Disney Store website, which isn't too bad for an almost screen-accurate version. BUT shipping to Australia is an additional $19.95 (US) and paying double the price just for shipping makes it too rich for my blood.
They also seem to apply a $20.00 (US) per item shipping policy. I figured if I also got the alien three-pack, then it would make the shipping more reasonable, but the shipping for two items just ended up being $40.00 (US).
Ebay prices for Hamm seem to be even worse (mark-up on the purchase price and grossly inflated shipping), so unless you have a US contact who can pick one up and ship it cheaply/slowly, I'm not sure what other options there are.
Cheers.

Re: Kmart sale - stock on shelves no laybuy until July 1

Affirmative. That's the highly sought after Hamm (by both US and international collectors).
Scored myself a Thinkway Rex from K-Mart for $49.00. VERY glad I didn't pay $140.00 for one when they were first released at Toys R Us (although I was tempted). Luckily I'd already grabbed a Bullseye on the weekend (for the sale price of $49.00) as they were sold out at both K-Marts I went to. Lotso was also sold out at both K-Marts.
Now I just need to grab a Jessie from Taget's toy sale, the aliens if TRU ever marks them down from the asking price of $50.00 and of course the much desired Hamm.
Cheers.

saw the Transformers Human Alliance Bumblebee, Sideways & Skids at K-mart today.
it looks like they've been repackaged into considerably smaller boxes that are based on the same design (bubble front + top, cardboard everywhere else.
they looked good but i already have these 3, just waiting for the next 3
