Are they any good? I have to admit I've pretty much ignored the 3.75" line (unless its a clone trooper) for quite a while now.
Also, might I ask do you have an ETA on the next Sideshow 12" Clone? Last I heard it was due this month.

I've noticed the last ANH wave has been restocked in places like Big W and K-Mart lately. With any luck we'll get the ESB wave in about 6 months. stooges

The Ep I figures are OK I guess. I dunno, it's kinda hard for me to rav about 3&3/4" figures. I'm keeping a Pod Racing Dude to add to my Boonta Eve Diorama.

Which Clone is that Amy? The Ep II Phase I? If so, that is due March 2010.

Don't hold your breath for the ESB wave......it ain't coming.

Oh, and I did see the Commander Fox figure at Target. Talk about an eternity for these to finally get on the shelf!

Very nice TST. I've had my eye on a number of Sideshow's larger scale pieces (Star Wars, GI Joe and Marvel) but have tried my hardest to resist slamming down the cash (sorry Pau) - trying to save for my US roadtrip next year.

I had the first 12"er they released in Star Wars, the Luke figure. Unfortunately when I consolidated my collection he had to go. Great figure though.
I do have the first ROTS clone they released, and he's a great display piece.
I've decided not to get the big Commander Cody bust they're putting out next yearish, but I'm definitely getting every 12"er ROTS clone they release, and I've vowed to buy the Premium Format 501st/Yoda statue when it hits in the first quarter of next year.

Re: Star Wars at the moment...

Post by Pixo on Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:54 am

Between TST, the Entertainment Earth Toy of the Week podcast, and the Clone Wars tv show (2008) I am having a mid-life Star Wars resurgence.

Earlier this year I pulled out my 70s-80s original figures with a view to flog them off on eBay. Now I'm buying the CW figures like nobody's business - and I've started grabbing specific Film figures as well.

The CW figures are reasonably available and for $13-$15 (on sale or on eBay) they're not unreasonably priced. I won't pay $17 for them though (except for Mace Windu) and I did pick the $20 Commander Ponds as a Father's Day present.

I saw that 4 legged thing (or is it 6 legs?) the At-At (or whatever it is called) in Target for about $90, so I think I'll put that on my Christmas list. My parents haven't bought me any toys since I was young so they are due! Laughing
