check your Target stores near you, saw the yellow box in the Lego aisle, didn't have a price on them though, probably $2 -$3 each

wow this is like the coolest idea ever, I can see I'm going to have hundreds of these guys trying to get all 16 (I guess I could cheat by using the bar codes but where is the fun in that!)

anyone else going to hunt for these interested in trading doubles?

Ooohhhh, very cool.

Some really nice little people in there. I will try & buy the ones that fit in with the Lego street setting I am still planning on buying at some point...this one:

Figures I'll be after:
Circus Clown
Magician
Cheerleader
Skater
Nurse
Cowboy

And I'll probably buy the Luchador...he's soo cool!

ok er I just actually read the OP, apparently I completely ignored text in favour of images the first time around.
At first I was like "oh I saw these at the shops the other day" and then I saw the pic above and went "meh" then I saw the surfer and realised how awesome his board is, then I went looking at series one.
DO WANTTTTTTTTT

now, how much are these things?

they definitely had a box at target tuggerah on saturday - but there was only one left, and the box was at the checkout (stupid people and their impulse buys, i want to get my hands on a box in the comfort of the toy aisle to check out the barcodes!)

For those old enough to remember Lego use to release a booster type pack of 6 figures only way back when. (Although you knew what you got)

This is a true winner for lego. The Dr is right they do a series like this for some of there licensed properties and it will be true gold.

Re: Lego minifigures series 1

Post by Mahzian on Wed May 26, 2010 4:19 pm

went to my local target here tonight and they had 2 boxes of these, I grabbed 6 using the barcodes as a rough guide and ended up with:

Wrestler x 1
Crash Test Dummy x 2
Caveman x 1
Forrestman x 1
Clown x 1

If you are using the barcodes it's a little tricky as there are 2 barcodes on the back, the one you'll need is the one smaller one on the left side, and it's partially covered by the center flap which makes it difficult. Also try and be a bit random where in the box you pick from if it's a neat fresh box, I noticed that they seemed to be grouped together.

They were a bit more expensive than I anticipated ($3.75 each) but still worth it imo! Smile

Random shmandom, i hate spending money on doubles of things, so i took the decoder which was crap, so i figured it out myself, i bought 15(as there were only 15 unique barcodes) and got 15 different characters, minus the sk8r boy, which i have a few of, just not the emo hair, here is my accurate decoder and my figs!!

It was funny, I did this over 2 visits and today when I picked up the last couple a lady was buying Lego for her sons birthday, she wanted specific characters which I had on my list so she was happy too!

Still on the lookout for these. I tried Target in Broadway but had no luck there.

Definitely going to use that scan to get the cheerleader, zombie and ninja if I find them. Thanks Dabigfella!
