Felicia Day (yum), the Immonens, King Kubert and big ol Lou - I better start hitting the guns for the double barrel pose. Hopefully most of the guests make the event. Stoked to see the event is on a week early - would have missed it if they held it the same time as last year.

Mmm, I only know her from Buffy and that wasn't a remarkable enough role to remember her by.

I know she was one of the potentials in season 7 but yeah I can't recall what her character looked like etc - keep thinking of someone with a really bad English accent. I'm more familiar with her work on The Guild, haven't seen Dr Horrible yet.

We had the chick that played Tara from Buffy last yr ,she was meh so not really interested in Mr Marsters, now if they had the chick playing Willow well that would be different, meeting Richard Hatch from BSG was the highlight for me last yr.
I still hate the whole paying for everything it has become.
First year I went and they had David Prowse and Peter Mayhew they were awesome and encouraged you to take pics with them, now if you ask for a pic you are told you can have one for $xx in the booth over there.

Stewart Mckenny is always good and I hope to pick up some more of his artwork again this yr, I have a couple of pieces from him and they are simply awesome.

Of course, I can't effing believe I missed Amber Benson. I knew she'd been here in recent years but didn't realise it was LAST YEAR when I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE (seriously, my LAN crew was there and I just wasn't going because I was lazy and cheap!) - I'm a big Tara fan. So bummed. So sad. Sad

She's awesome in The Guild.

Get your Xbox back online and download all 3 seasons in HD for FREE. Wink

You know you want to. Cool

Well, at least you're not getting shafted as badly as Melbourne.

We miss out on Felicia Day, Lou Ferigno, AND Michael Winslow.

Sad

Without those 3, I have no reason to go (not that I could afford to anyways, so I guess it's a mixed blessing Razz ).

Got to ask questions of Wolfman, Perez and Jenkins today. Got the first two to sign my "Crisis" TPB and the latter to sign my "Mythos: Captain America" issue.

Then I managed to pick up a vintage MOTU Snake Mountain for $39 with a working Voice-Changer and the Snake/Trapdoor intact.

Yay for me!

Haha Pixo I saw that Snake Mountain. I just sold one myself with more accessories than that one on ebay for $20 (grrrr) lol.
The seller at that stall owns Cat's Cradle comic shop and he'll usually drop his prices if you ask him.

I went first thing in the morning with my daughter, Supergirl. We nabbed some Hellblazer and Teen Titans trades, Witchblade DVD complete series and a couple of figures.

My daughter loves it. I haven't watched it. It's the anime series not the live-action one.

glad you guys had a good time at the melb nova! I'm pretty over it now, this year was the worst in Brissie, totally overtaken by anime / cosplay, no good merch/deals at stalls and so overcrowded you can't get into sessions meh Sad

Urban, Perez and Wolfman are the only ones to interest me from the Brisso lineup so I'll pass. Maybe if they got Patrick Stewart or Adam West...
