Defenders of the Earth
Started collecting this one on a whim last year. Not sure if anyone else remembers the show or the toyline, or was even aware that there was a toy line released for the show. Currently I have half of the figures and a third of all the vehicles sealed.

Re: Defenders of the Earth
Currently down in Canberra away from my collection, and what I said about the vehicles, is only half true (Flash's sword ship and Mongor are currently in transit after being paid for) for the next week or so (hoping to have them in my hot little hands as of next mid next week). Heading back home in a couple of weeks with my girlfriend who has a way better camera than me, so I'll sort out pics then.
Mandrake, the Phantom and Garax are all figures I need to get at the moment- hoping to have them finished by this year though (realistically, things like the grip jaw are likely to take a few years to even surface on eBay, and then it'll be a case of probably needing to sell off a kidney to be able to afford it heh).

Re: Defenders of the Earth
I was never a big fan of the cartoon myself, but for some reason it's one of those 80's theme tunes that is permanently and completely burned into my brain...
Defenders of the Earth.
Defenders!
Out of the sky, his rockets ignite
He jets into battle, flying faster than light
Flash Gordon!
Lord of the Jungle, the hero who stalks
The beasts call him brother, the ghost who walks
Phantom!
Defenders of the Earth.
Defenders!
Master of magic, spells and illusion
the enemies crumble, in fear and confusion
Mandrake!
Defenders of the Earth.
Defenders!
His strength is a legend, his skills conquor all
armed with his power, we never will fall
Lothar!
Defenders of the Earth.
Defenders!
With our new young heroes, proving their worth
four become eight, defending the earth
Defenders of the Earth.
Defenders!
Defenders of the...Earth.
GET OUT OF MY BRAIN, DAMN YOU!!!!!

Re: Defenders of the Earth
The figures are around the 6" mark, and all had this power punch gimmick which was activated by turning a dial on their backs.
Also I just found out that my 2 DOTE vehicles have arrived at the post office and so I can post pics of them at the very least, in the next couple of days.
