Wow. I've been pretty unforgiving when it comes to the Darth Vader & Clone voice changer helmets but...that Boba Fett one is looking pretty tempting just for display (and yes, I realise it's no where near scale Wink).

Is there a scale difference between the Clone Wars and Movie lines? I'm watching some Episode 1 STAPs intended for my Clone Wars figures.

Not that I can tell, just artistic style difference, which is why i tend to stick to the movie ones for the more (can I call sci fi realistic?? heh) versions

That new Anakin in the bottom pic is pretty cool. I always liked the tunic he was wearing in those scenes. I want one (the actual tunic, not the figure) Razz

I can't remember though, does anyone know if a Padme figure was made wearing the George Lucas-designed black leather corset from AOTC?

Yeah, I'm assuming the feather top thing comes off? I always thought that thing was retarded.
Thanks for the image, I thought for sure they made one but couldn't remember what it looked like.

I want a Hot Toys version of it now. Razz

Anyone else buying this set:

I know the Jabba has a squishy lower section. That may have turned some people off, but I don't mind.

Is this something we will see in Oz?

I picked this up in San Francisco when I was there in August (TRU Exclusive). It's now November......I would suggest that we're unlikely to see it here......it really should have shown up by now if we were.

A buddy of mine at work has been nagging TRU about it... they are getting a tiny amount of stock in, and can't even confirm the arrival date. :/

But they swear it is coming.

I am sure that I could get it now cheaper than TRU Aus are going to sell it at. When I posted the question, I didn't realise that it was a TRU exclusive - but I see you can buy it from Amazon now.

Jabba is just beautful, and the throne base is WAY better than anything that's come before. If you really are concerned about "squishy" then replace with an older Hutt, but honestly how long are you going to be "touching" the toy when its on display. The tail is fairly posable, with a little force, and it simply is an awesome set. Its also fairly available on ebay if you want to import yourself.
