Hasbro "Mega" Toy sale, Homebush

I've no information on this other than I've just got back from Homebush where I some colleagues and I had a meeting this afternoon, and stumbled upon some sort of large toy sale in the area.

Its on at the showgrounds, where the showbag hall is at the Easter show/Boiler room is at the Big Day Out.

Not sure if its on tomorrow but considering it started today, I was in there shortly before 2pm and they'd shifted bugger all, they ought to be open tomorrow by the looks of things.

Toys available included board games, marvel transformers, Star Wars Clone wars stuff, GI Joe mighty muggs and unfortunately for the group of Nerf enthusiasts I was with, none of those.

They had around 30+ pallets of gear there (and I wasn't paying too much attention to what else they had so the above is a poor representation).

- Shockwave (Purple) w/ Activators Bumblebee boxed set

Can hit you up for cash the moment I hear from you for the figures, then later on for the shipping.

This is Hasbro AU running a purge of warehouse stock thru an event company. "Retailers have left [them] with massive amounts of stock from across the year", and they need to clear the boards for 2010.

Pfft. If they made or sold toys here that people actually wanted, maybe they wouldn't have a warehouse full of stuff left over. (Hint hint Marvel Legends)

Yeah I commented several times to the guys that were wandering with me that no, they don't have "real" twister, only dance party twister because this sale is just a bunch of crap that nobody wants.

That said, the deluxe edition of Monopoly for $50 was very tempting

I don't think they're nearly as bad as people make out. The latest two packs are fantastic.
