Some star Wars figure customs

Post by The Scream Man on Mon Dec 07, 2009 7:19 am

OK, my first attempt at some Star Wars figure customs:

Jax Paven - From the Coruscant Nights books series. I messed with the colours a bit; i made his duster black instead of grey, and i stuck with a black shirt instead of a black vest over a white shirt. Its made from the body of a Cade Skywalker, with the belt off a Biggs Tie Pilot, the lower legs off a Luke Skywalker and the head off a Starkiller Jedi hero figure. i resculpted the shirt, filled in the rips in the jacket and gave him new hair.

Corran Horn - from the X-Wing series. I used the head off the X-Wing Corran (which can be swapped back) on a Biggs torso and the legs off a Han solo.

Tycho Celchu as an X-Wing pilot and Pash Cracken - I just swapped a tycho head for a Luke X-Wing head and painted it red. the great thing about Luke figures, is all the heads look different Smile

Mara Jade - OK, I was always disappointed in the Mara figure, mainly the arms. so i decided to fix that. swapped them out with the 2 pack Bultar Swan, then totally repainted the figure. i even redid the skin so she wasnt that purply/pink colour

Judder Page - Sandstorm Luke, repainted Han vest, black glove hands off Cade, belt off Cade and lower legs off Cade. And slightly redone and painted hair.

Random Commando - So yeah, I swapped Lukes head for a Red 4 head and gave him a goatee. just a background dude.

Master Luke - just a repaint, nothing huge.

Zekk - from various EU novels. Concept Anakin with a new hairdo and skintone. i always kinda liked the character of zekk, so this was an easy add for me.

looks real good - even I don't recognise most of those characters but I'm fairly uninterested in delving into the EU most of the time (lazy, mostly). That said, those are some slick customs and fit the star wars bill easily Smile

was gonna do that as well, but with shipping on top felt that I'll just nab at retail or import, as it still works out cheaper from BBTS even. But the snowspeeder, if i see that local BAM it will be mine asap!
