Dexter action figure

Post by Jor-El on Sat Nov 28, 2009 8:04 pm

Was in Empire Toys this afternoon in Perth and found the Dexter figure released by Showtime.

Decent sculpt, nothing spectacular, though. Bit overpriced, but from what I've seen on eBay, it's not a cheap figure (picked it up for $39).

For anyone who loves the show, I highly recommend. Smile It's cool to have him in the collection.

My local comic book store (Comics Etc, Brisbane) has the Dexter figure, but it was an easy pass for me. Far too pricey and far too cartoon-like for me.

And I cop enough flack from my partner for watching a show "starring" a serial killer. No doubt I would be in major trouble if I purchased the action figure also.

Cheers.

I don't think he's cartoony. It's a good sculpt, just the paint apps are pretty basic.

Also a very basic articulated figure. Very early 2000s. Still, most movie figures have limited artic. Probably the only time we'll get the character in AF form (now watch NECA come out with one Razz).

Is that the Dexter with cape of the regular version?

From the pics I saw he does look more basic, but ok.
They seem to have changed the final figure:

I got one and i have to say that i cannot complain about anything except for the head which for some reason looks too plain.
