Twilight - Series 2 (NECA)

Post by Xenaphobia on Wed Oct 28, 2009 8:26 am

For all you hard-core Twilighters out there, I spotted NECA's second series (Edward in business suit, Bella in tank-top, Jacob in t-shirt and Alice in pants (looking very cute)) at Target for $30.00 each.

It might be common knowledge, but it looks like pretty much all articulation has been removed from the figures. They appeared to only have neck, shoulders and maybe waist articulation.

Cheers.

Thanks for the heads up, might take a look. Loved the Bella from Series 1 but wasn't willing to pay for the expensive 2 pack with ugly Edward.

Twilight figures seem to be collecting dust everywhere. Talk about overkill.

Its probably a very empty market. Kiddies want Edward, not some poorly painted plastic version.

bahahaha

I actually thought these looked pretty good (the old twilight figs) when i saw them at target (but then they are pretty upscale to the other crap target normally stocks)

For all the *sparkle* fans:

http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_110209b.htm

I haven't seen these in stores, but I don't tend to peruse the Barbie aisle very often, so they could possibly be out now.

Cheers.

Mmm, fake barbieness. No thanks. I'll take my slightly off-looking NECA figures. When I buy some, that is.

Well if they don't show up around your area we have a thousand of them in Target here. I think they were $30 or something like that.

They're rare as hens teeth around here, that said I'm not really looking to pay $30 a figure just at the moment. Christmas is coming up and I'm about to be very broke Wink

Just messing with you Sweetest Wink

(Have to say I did feel really embarrassed buying the books for my wife while she was sick. It wasn't fun taking one of those up to the counter in Borders)

If it makes you feel any better simmo, I bought all the books for my sister and I'm taking her to the New Moon 12am session this coming wed night/thurs morn. We're then going to the 2pm session thursday...

She's a little obsessed, but then I did buy the hardcover boxset when I went to the US (just a tad heavy for my suitcase).

Yet you were proud buying that Dee-Lite CD back in the day?....

My wife who has refused to read anything I like - comics or books wise where there may be a touch of horror/ magic/vampires etc ploughed through these books in a couple of weeks.....and loved them.....still won't read anything I suggest...

Haha for sure. I saw the Bella/Edward Twilight 2 pack as well as the New Moon Bella, Edward and Jacob today. No Alice though Sad

After having seen New Moon twice today I think I ought to buy some of these figures...but at $30 a pop? Sad
