i like the idea, but too bulky and not tall enough... i understood it as a saving plastic thing with toybiz, but if you're going to pay for them they should be much bigger... what's with superheros only flying at knee height...

wonder woman is sporting the classic "I'm on the invisible toilet, do you mind?" pose. I think I'll pass on the stands. Like rage said - "epic fail"!

Re: MattyCollector release dates for the rest of the year.
Easy pass on the "hovering two inches off the floor" stands aka the "flying" stands.
I can't imagine too many dynamic displays being created using those worthless pieces of plastic. Even using the stands the other way (placing the figure horizontally instead of vertically), they're still too low to the ground and the DCUC recent re-working of the ball-jointed neck makes any "looking up" positioning impossible.
Mattel can do a lot of things right, but they still do a lot of things wrong. Very wrong.
Cheers.

Re: MattyCollector release dates for the rest of the year.
Why cant they make stands that clip on the crotch, a little less thick and adjustable hights of up to 20cm would of been perfect.

Re: MattyCollector release dates for the rest of the year.
I'm guessing the flocked ears & oversized figures will be the only ones to "hold their value" long term.....everything else seems to be getting re-releases along the way.......It'd be interesting to see what the actual production numbers are for each figure......don't remember ever reading that info anywhere

They dont give out that information, one guy who was at SDCC counted all the fakers on the pellets and it came to roughly 5000 and mattel had done a 50/50 split for SDCC and mattycollector so about 10,000.
