I've purchased from casefresh.com.au and popcultcha.com.au and generally have been very pleased with their service.

I've also heard good things about cmgiftsandcollectibles.co.uk, although I'm yet to try their services.

I'm sure somewhere on this site is a good list of on-line retailers - the second sticky thread in this forum section - "Suppliers" seems to have a pretty comprehensive list.

Cheers.

There's a website just under the OzFigurama logo... Figures Direct... run by TheGoodDr from these boards. Smile

I'm thinking supervan is seeking OS stores......

It sort of depends what toys you're after as some specialise in certain products.

As far as overseas based stores go I've had success with:
- BigBadToyStore.com
- CornerstoreComics.com (they have had recent credit issues though so be careful)
- EnchantedToyChest.com

As for locally based outlets, I've only ever shopped with the Doc.

I've never used BBTS before. Do they have a good history?

I know some site had troubles with credit card fraud recently. Think it was a UK site.

I've bought figures from CM Gifts a few times & they have always been very good.

They will also ship figures loose to save on postage. Though I have everything shipped MOC anyway (openings half the fun!!).

They mainly stock UK lines like Doctor Who, Primeval, Torchwood & some 10" military figures. I asked them if they were getting in the new Half Bloode Prince 3.75" Potter figures but they can't get a responce from PopCo.

I've shopped with them once of twice. I think they sponser a couple of online forums (Fwoosh etc) so they seem to be well known and have a decent customer base.

Pity they tend to overcharge on shipping though, usually quite a bit. I stopped shopping wiht them ages ago because of that. I used to score GI joe boxsets stuff but when I saw the actual shipping cost was 2/3 to half, and asked about it, well, suffice to say its a last resort now lol.

But they did have good packing as rage said.

So what credit issues did cornerstore have?

I've only used cornerstore once (for DCUC wave 6) and they were really good. They had problems with hackers getting into their site and getting everyone's credit card details and them being charged (not once but twice over a period of a few months) so many are wary of them still , I used paypal at the time so it eased my worries a bit.

ahh, i see.

yeh paypal is the only way to go these days i reckon. I had someone try and use my account to buy a 199USD megaupload account, but soon got my money back!

Hi i'm new here and have bought from BBTS and also had my C.C.done twice at C.S.C. but i think it has more to do with the credit card clearing houses being hacked than the store.Paypal with a C.C. is a good payment policy anyway this site i've used for many purchase's pre-orders etc and postage is half of BBTS its www.scifigenre.com also there is BIBYCO check them out.
