A friend was able to pick up this set for me at comic con. They came out really well, though I agree the rims of Egon's glasses are a little thick.

I thought he might take some pics with the Neca figures from a few years ago. I might buy them to go with these new figures, though I'd say Mattel will make their own versions of Gozer, The Dogs & Staypuft.

The proton packs look awesome!

woohoo ditto! (took longer than I expected)

I had the problem of Aus Post leaving parcels at the front door (of a communial unit complex) while I was at work so I started getting items shipped to my work (I get a right old ribbing for "wasteing" all my money on toys but at least I get them!)

My Egon & Slimer arrived in the mail today:

I'm really pleased with them. Egon doesn't look shiny in person & his glasses, whilst a bit comical, aren't that bad.

i think it's been delayed by a month mate, according to Matty Mattel's new Q&A on Facebook

Matty Mattel's Facebook wrote:Q: When will new Ghostbuster figures be out?

A: Ray in both 6" and 12" is coming Oct 15th. 12" figures will follow once per quarter and 6" about every other month. We'll be posting the next few figures with avail dates soon.

Got my Egon today he is freaking sweet!
My most favourite toy since Tri-klops.
Slimer looks awesome on the window sill with the light shinning through him.
Would have loved a particle stream for his proton pack.

Re: Cost

I vaguely recall that the 12" Zod (from Superman II) will be $60.00 (US), so I would expect the 12" Ghostbusters to be about the same price (since they all fall under the 12" Movie Masters title. Or maybe it was $80.00 (US). I'm pretty sure it was $60.00 (US).

Cheers.
