Catwoman (repaint, but purple instead of black)
Lex Luthor (All new, classic costume)

2 Packs:
Animal Man and Bwanna Beast
Romat Ru and Kara Sil (Sinestro Corp)

Public Enemies:
Superman
Batman
Major Force
Black Lightning
icicle
Silver Banshee
Brimstone CnC

Shown randomly at panel:
Eclipso

There u go!

My Thoughts:

Beast Boy looks cool and is an easy repaint for a titans version. As many guessed, he ahs the bird!
Batman I'll need him for the CnC, but its a pretty basic repaint. And whatt he hell is the computer thing??
Forager Not a bad figure, though Im not fond of the design myself.
Joker is AWESOME! looks great, i cant wait!
Man Bat was hard to see in the pics i looked at, but he looks good fromw what I could tell
Powergirl looks a bit skinnier to me. Not to bad, but i thought she was bulkier in the 2 up.
Robotman looks ok. Whats the thing round his neck?
Imperiex CnC I like, though i have no idea abouit the character. The head is amazing!
Cyborg Superman looks awesome! I love all the rings he has on!
Deadman i like. the skinny body works, and the headsculpt is really nice.
John Stewart looks very cool, and i love that he has constructs!
Katma Tui Same as John, and Ill need a few of these for base female bodies for customs!!
The Question needs some gear! I dont know what he should come with, but he should have SOMETHING!
The Shark BWAHAHAHAHA! Did the Shark really look like that?! He's like a dude with a fish head stuck over his own! what a ridiculous costume! BWAAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!
Steppenwolf (classic) I dont know the character, but this looks amazing! Love the whole costume
Steppenwold (Super Powers) is OK, but not as cool as the green one!
Kilowog CnC Oh man! Look att he amazing job on the headsculpt. He's ready to pound your poozer ass into the ground! Awesome figure, a shame he doesnt come with a Lantern (Though i have the DCD version, so it's ok!)

5 Pack:
Superman (Short hair, no laser eyes) I made one, but this looks good. Makes the Braniac/Supes 2 pack a harder buy for me.
Batman (Black and grey, yellow symbol) Dammiot, I just bought the clayface set! Ah well, ill have some to paint...
2 Face (Repaint, orange/purple coat) i dunno about the Orange, but Ill be glad to have the figure.
Catwoman (repaint, but purple instead of black) i dunno if she ever had this outfit in purple, but it actually makes for a dynamic looking figure i think! And Ill be glad to have a Catwoman!
Lex Luthor (All new, classic costume) VERY cool! i prefer this to a suit n tie version, this looks great!

2 Packs:
Animal Man and Bwanna Beast I WANT THIS MORE THAN I WANT CHILDREN! Animal Man is one of my top 10 picks, and the figure looks AMAZING! Bwanna Beast is ok, and Ill be happy to add him to the goofball shelf, but ANIMAL MAN!!!!!!!!
Romat Ru and Kara Sil (Sinestro Corp) Great 2 pack! We're really getting some great Sinestrocorp figures here!

Public Enemies:
Superman, OK but pass
Batman, OK but pass. Well, maybe get and swap a DCUC Bats head onto it
Major Force, OK and Ill get to fill in the villains shelf
Black Lightning, OK, but pass. I like the DCUC 5 one
icicle, Ugh what a terrible headsculpt. PASS!
Silver Banshee, Looks good, Ill grab her.
Brimstone CnC i like it a lot, but not enough to get the other figures for i think. Then again, Ima sucker, so who knows?
Eclipso, Looks good, though its hard to see. Wave 12 i guess?

Looking good. Shame there was no Martian Manhunter announcement/confirmation.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the "Public Enemies" line makes its way to Target stores in Australia. I'd like those Superman and Batman figures - very cool.

Really want the Stewart Green Lantern too (although I'm still chasing Hawkgirl, so I don't want to get too ahead of myself).

Also, 12" Movie Masters Superman - must have!

Cheers.

Blasted store exclusives! Hopefully distribution for this wave is better than wave 5. I have a feeling I'll probably struggle to get my hands on these *sigh* I can already see the BS prices for Powergirl.

Looking forward to Wave 11. Are the 2-packs and boxset only available through MattyCollector or Toys R Us?

I haven't really been paying attention to this line since I fell out of DC figure collecting a couple years back, is the upcoming Joker in series 10 the first one released in this line? There was a Harley Quinn as well, back in series 2 (?), how did that one turn out.

I'm finally getting back around to playing catch up on a few figures I missed for my Joker/Harley figure shelf, so thats why I ask. Cheers.

Re: Joker

If you exclude the DC Super Heroes (DCSH) Joker (and "construction worker" variant) which was released as part of the previous Batman/Superman only line, then the Walmart Joker is the first "DCUC" Joker.

BUT I'm pretty sure Mattel and the 4H have both indicated that Joker is very likely to get a wider release at some point.

Re: Harley Quinn

I think reaction to Harley Quinn was mixed. The figure came out with a "blue" face (instead of white) and I think opinion was also varied when it came to the facial sculpt which has a very animated appearance as compared to the standard slightly more "realistic" appearance of the DCUC figures.

I think actionfigureinsider.com has some pics of the figures together.

Re: Matty Collector sales

In their Fwoosh Q&A, Mattel confirmed that DCUC should be available on mattycollector.com from Wave 9 onwards and would be on sale approximately a month after they hit retail (in the US). The interview also indicated that the waves could be purchased as singles and then starting with DCUC Wave 11, also as complete sets.

BUT I'm not sure whether a more recent Q&A with Mattel which indicated that DCUC wouldn't be sold online until 2010 takes precedence over the Fwoosh interview which was conducted at SDCC.

Cheers.
