Tonight I finally got around to digging out all my old Vintage MOTU's from the suitcases they have been stored in for the past few years, and assessing what I had, what condition they were in, and so on, so if you (or anyone else on the boards) are still looking for any fills for your 80's MOTU collection let me know, I still have a ton of figures, vehicles, accessory packs (such as the black armour and gun for Z0dak, yellow armour for Beast Man etc) and the like. Some are very much played with, but there's still also a lot of stuff in quite good condition as well, and I also have a ton of weapons and outfits and accessory packs as well. The two rock people, Multi-Bot, the original Battle Bones, Attack-Trak, the Jet Sled accessory (came around at the same time as the Stilt Stalker), the Dragon Walker, Land Shark, Dragon Blast Skeletor and so on are just a few examples of pieces I have that I don't spot in your collection. I also have some of the mini comics and the top art from the card backs.

Just thought I'd mention it before I eventually get around to throwing some of this stuff up on the bay or elsewhere, just in case you or any other collectors here could use any of it.

Mate, I would be definitely interested, however I have to give first dibs to DBF. Is it okay if I pm you in a couple days with a want list?

I'd would like to register my interest in this too.

Evil-Lyn is the main gap from early figures, but more gaps appear once you get to the Evil Horde and the Snakemen.

Yeah DBF has first dibs on whatever he wants, sorry guys. I'll drop you guys a PM after DBF has made his choices though, or else you can just send through your lists of what you are after most, and after I know what is left then NiteOwl will get next dibs, then Pixo. Hopefully I've got something for each of ya, but we'll see how we go I guess.

I'll get everything organised and shoot off some pics, hopefully by sometime tomorrow DBF, although I have to do some research and remember what comes with what exactly. Then we'll take it from there... Smile

All I can say is WOW - that is one hell of a MOTU collection! Consider me luminous-green with envy!

Oh, and if I can put my hand up re: any classic Motu going I'd be interested in hearing about what's available once the other guys have had their pick. At this stage I'm mainly looking for stuff that's not in perfect nick as my kids are dying to play with my current collection and that ain't happening ;o)

Cheers,
Si

Post by Sledge Hammer! on Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:54 am

Okay guys, pretty soon I'll be sorted with DBF as far as him having had his choice of what he needed from what I had available, so I'll pm each of you guys in turn with what's left in a couple of days, in the order of interest shown. So I'll send Nitey a pm after my dealing with DBF is done and dusted later in the week, then after he's had time to consider what's on offer and if any of it is of any interest to him, then if there's still stuff left Pixo will get a shot, and then last but not least, BigSi. Then if anything is still left and no one else is interested, onto the bay it'll go.

In the meantime thanks for your patience guys, and there's still quite a few pieces left, so hopefully I'll be able to help some of you guys out. Smile

Now back to the wonderful world of DBF's kickass MOTU collection...

Hey DBF - cool poster you have across the top there - it was the covers of the MOTU Encyclopedia, wasn't it? I got the first issue, but I don't know if they printed the rest - do you know?

Yeah I saw on the aussie post tracking page that this arrived today (in fact 'delivered' was the first tracking update I got... Laughing), I'm glad it all got there safe and sound (at least I presume it did?), hope your happy with your new vintage additions mate. Enjoy. Smile

It's a shame about that broken rib on Battle Bones, from memory I think that happened within like 15 minutes of me getting him as a kid, because I remember being quite bummed about it at the time. Funny the things that stick in your head... Laughing

Its the fold out cover for Volume 3 issue 1 (comic con exclusive, i bought 2) they were going to replicate it on the Motu encyclopedia, but only ever released 1 issue, it would have been great though, very thorough....

Looking good although MOTUC MAA is missing.
How long did you spend in the dark looking at Evil-Lyn's staff?
