My small collection thus far.....

Post by MikeBrown30 on Fri Jun 19, 2009 5:31 pm

Hey guys,

First post, I was referred here by Sledgehammer! You guys have got some nice collections.

Anyway here's my small collection so far. I'm mostly into 1:1 busts & replicas, although i've got the Hot Toys Ironman figures & the Predator Dutch figure because they're pretty cool for a toy. Sorry for the blurriness on some of them, very rarely can I take a straight photo.

Few shots of my bedroom....

I know it's getting a bit crowded, i'm trying to persuade my parents into letting me turn the lounge room into my games/collectibles room. I'm only 21 so I don't have that much say in the matter but i'll keep trying Very Happy I look forward to meeting you guys.

Welcome aboard. Looks like you got the T2 BR head as well. Were you disappointed with the movie noises?

Hey Mike, good to see you here. Nice collection mate, I particularly envy the Aliens Warrior bust, always wanted one of them, but never found one locally, and it's too big and heavy to import. Not to mention the price that can go for o/s these days to begin with now...

Anyway, welcome aboard.

Man, you shouldn't of let that happened. She moved in with you, so it's your house. These things don't belong in a spare room, they should be on display where you can enjoy them everyday.

Nah, i've got the Sideshow one. I was pondering getting the other one when I found out that the SS was sold out, but I managed to find on on Ebay.

Hey mate,

I got lucky with the Warrior, as the seller was from NZ, so the shipping wasn't astronomical. And he wasn't selling it for the prices that you see on Ebay. I'm pretty stoked about it:D

Thanks mate. Is yor friend hot? She can live with me and we can share the Termie stuff Wink

Coincidently I ordered the 1:1 Combat Endo a couple of months back, although i'm disappointed that I missed out on the clean version. In some pictures the combat looks really dirty with the weathering on it, then in some shots it looks exactly the same as the clean version, albeit with the blast marks on it. I guess i'll find out when he arrives in a few months. Still, i'm a masive Terminator/Arnie fan, so I just had to get one.

It's going to end up costing me around 10k, without any customs fees. Although I think that i'm going to get stung with a bill for quarantine, which is stuff all anyway. Pics to come in a couple of months.
