Cheap Movie Tix for Medibank Private members.

Post by MAN on Mon Jun 15, 2009 4:30 pm

Hi,

If you're a Medibank Private member, you can get cheap movie tickets (for Village/Hoyts etc.)! ..Well slightly cheaper.

-$11 adult tickets
-$8.75 child tickets

I used to be able to rock up to a medibank and buy tickets there, but they don't do that anymore.

You have to go to:
www.spendless.net.au/medibank

to purchase tickets. They send the tickets/vouchers to your house. Order 6 or more tickets and receive free postage.

You do have to create an account on this site though, but it didn't ask me if I was a member...??
I think they check if you are a member by looking at the address you provide them.

Anyways, thought I'd share this with y'all. I just purchased Transformers tickets for my peeps.

From experience, these movie vouchers DO NOT classify as FREE TICKETS. Have used them in the past to see new films, ones with the NFT (no free tickets) sign on them. They're ADMIT ONE kinda tickets.

There is ONE catch though, I can't use the tickets I bought after 5pm Saturdays.

Yeah.

Anyone here a member?

YAY for cheap tickets! =)

They also do ticket discounts for IMAX.

$14.95 tickets.

Ya gonna see TF2 at Imax? Heard there are some extra scenes. Now I'll have to watch the movie twice! =P

I get a similar thing for Village/GU/Hoyts for $10 each from work. Don't know about IMAX though, that's a really good price, though i'm guessing it's not for feature length IMAX movies as well is it?

Hmm, I couldn't find any detailed info on the IMAX tickets YJ.

I've never been to IMAX and haven't bought any tickets for them in the past, so I'm not sure if you can or can't use them for feature length films.

All it says on the website is that they're valid only after 5pm. They'd have more info on the actually ticket.

I'll give them a call or email them later and find out =)
