Post by drspleen on Sun Jun 14, 2009 4:22 am

Been following E3, man there's some good stuff coming out. Really looking forward to:

Uncharted 2
Modern Warfare 2
Red Dead Redemption (How can you go wrong with GTA-Cowboy!?)

and I'm keen to hear more about Rockstar's new franchise "Agent"

Depending on how the final versions of the games turn out, I'm looking forward to checking out:

Batman - Arkham Asylum
Ghostbusters
Red Dead Redemption
CoD: Modern Warfare 2
Left for Dead 2
the new Aliens vs Predator game by the original AvP pc games developer (not coming out until next year though...)
and the new Splinter Cell game, if it ever actually comes out...

- Batman Arkham Asylum

- CoD : Modern Warfare 2
- Bioshock 2

There a bunch of games that I still need to complete (Dead Space, Bioshock, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Red Faction) as well as purchase (Fable II, Fallout 3, Left for Dead, Wanted, Silent Hill Homecoming).

I was watching gametrailers best of E3 vids and Brutal Legend showed up in most of them... I'd never heard of it, and it looks sort of low fi (relatively speaking), but it's got a good pedigree. Designed by Tim Schafer, 3rd person joke filled hack and slash game about heavy metal in a Nordic fantasy realm inspired by album covers. Definitely High Concept and will probably get my money on release...

So tell me, of the armoured core games on ps3 or even xbox? which would be the most like Mech warrior games, ie, not too much into the customization, but just stalking through cities, have that feeling of ' am big will crush'

not jumped into any of the core games, but am tossing up?

anyone had hands on with a few of em to recommend?

The Arkham Asylum reviews have been flooding in over the last 24 hours or so, and they've all been rating it very good or great, haven't seen a bad review for this game yet. Definitely gonna have to grab me a copy.

nVidia were showing off their new 3D biz with Arkham Asylum at QuakeCon, it was rather epic. Didn't really get to see much on the gameplay, rather just the graphics and that sort of thing. It looked good. Hopefully the storyline delivers.
