Watched Paranormal Activity 4 today. Yawned a lot. They need to do something in 5 to pep it up a bit. Also, what happened to the other kid, Robbie?

Same here, Man of Steel, and its 8/10 to me. Its a great origin of Superman and flashbacks. I think Cavill needs to Bulk more of his muscles.

Dredd - done really well......body count was a bit lower than I thought it'd be..... clearly some scenes done for the 3D which weren't as effective on my laptop but enjoyable.

I checked out "The Conjuring". Always good to see an Aussie Director doing well and James Wan doesn't disappoint. It's a fun ghost flick that doesn't need to resort to Hollywood cliches.

I watched "Revenge of the Nerds" all the way to the end on Saturday night.

I'm not a proud man.

Hunger Games, enjoyed it but it irritated my wife as I anticipated just about everything that was coming up in the story.....I have seen battle royal and series 7 so it seemed kinda obvious.

Did the double of The Wolverine and Pacific Rim on Monday. Hoyts Rewards plus student card = $7.50 ticket awesomeness.

Both flicks enjoyable and well worth both the $15 and the bike ride to and from Carousel. Razz Surprised it didn't rain.

Mortal Instruments, City of Bones...........................

WHAT A FART OF A MOVIE!!! misus wanted to see it, she loves the books.
All these young adult (teenage female) books are all the same, about some ordinary girl, who discovers she's special, has 2 boys fighting over her, and saves the day.

I also saw Mortal instruments last night.
I have read the first 3 books.
The movie was average, very corny and yes Steve def targeted at teenage girls. The romance scenes were cringe worthy.
The big thing I hated was the main character Jace. The actor played him well but he doesn't look anything like I pictured him from the book. He is meant to be ridiculously good looking but the actor that played him just looked like a creepy serial killer.

I saw The Village for the first time last night (only 9 years late Wink).

Even though I'd had the ending spoiled years ago, I still greatly enjoyed it. A fantastic cast, some good tension, and even better acting (Bryce Dallas Howard really owned the film).

Now if only it was out on Blu-ray...

Gravity. An amazing spectacle. I saw this in 3D at lunchtime on Monday while the office was on skeleton staff for the clayton's long weekend.

Gosh, that reference will date me!

Cool, I still need to watch Elysium.

Watched Riddick the other night. Average. Seemed like a rehash of Pitch Black, which is disappointing given the second film was so different.

Saw Oblivion recently, which was interesting.

And The Family, which was pretty disappointing.

Olympus has Fallen - passable Die Hard clone in the way Under Siege was, but with less breasts.

Oblivion is definitely one of the more interesting movies I have watched this year, just because of how different it was and how different it was to my expectations.

Finished it last night......similar base story to Moon.....which is one of the best movies I've seen in a while, just handled differently, did enjoy it, not sure about all the shapes though.
