We won tickets to advance screening of The Muppet Movie, I loved it, plenty of singing and dancing, it was just fun, I took my parents and my kids and all three generations of us found something to laugh about, pretty rare these days
Oh and the trailer for Brave was on it and that looks awesome too

The Tree of Life (certainly not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but a beautiful film none-the-less).

The new Sherlock Holmes very surprising movie on terms of plot but the first one was better.

Mission Impossible unrealistic combat but better than the previous films.

Finally watched The Green Lantern.

And wow ... it was even worse than all the reviews said it was. I don't understand who it was even made as the script was all over the place. My partner watched for about 30 minutes and decided it was so bad that the remainder wasn't worth watching.

Also saw Tin Tin.

It was better than I thought it would be, but completely forgettable and I couldn't help but think "why wasn't this just made with "real live" actors" during the course of the entire movie.

The Muppets.
I had very high expectations for this. My 3.5yo loves all the movies on DVD so I have watched quite a lot of them recently. My only concern was could my daughter last throughout the whole movie as she has an attention span of a 3.5yo.
There were very funny mini movies of both ice age 4 and Toy Story but the long ads and previews dont help the kids attention span.
Finally the movie came on, she lasted about 40 mins and we had to take her out 3 times befor the finish. So all this didnt help me with the pace of the movie.

It had some funny bits but overall i think there was too much time spent on the humans and not enough time spent on the Muppets. It the MUPPETS for f$%^s sake not the HUMANS why so much attention on the humans?

As you can see i was a little dissapointed, I hope its just due to my watching being interrupted but I dont see this movie reviving the future of the Muppets.

Super 8, was a good flick, was kind of disappointed that they revealed the thing they are running from so soon, it was pretty scary until then

Warrior - Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton were all sorts of awesome, Hardy looks the complete nutjob in some of the fight scenes can't wait to see him as Bane

A classic that one. Watched Sherlock Holmes II the other night and enjoyed it. IMO, I thought this was an improvement over the first installment - more twists with Moriarty being involved and more Watson screen time .. a little too much Fry though *urgh* shudders.

Just saw Underworld Awakening in Dolby 3D ...
F%^&ing AWESOME!!!
Best action movie I have seen in months.
Great action scenes, (I would hate to be Kate B's stunt double), amazing 3D and special effects. Good story with a few twists, turns and surprises. Well written by J Michael Stracinski and well directed.
Go and see it.....NOW!!

I have picked a random movie to watch called the "The Chaser". A Korean movie with a psychological twist, and I must say its a very good movie.I would give it 10/10 , but should have bought it as I just found out youtube has it.

Finally saw the Muppets movie and I really enjoyed taking my girls to see it. i was a huge Muppets fan as a kid so to be able to take my girls to see somethimg I loved as a kid always makes me feel pretty good.
And while I love a good action flick with plenty of violence, sex and swearing I have to say it was refreshing to watch a movie without any of the above.
