Stags Collection
My action figures are generally not displayed behind other action figures. They are mostly displayed side by side which shows more of the action figure's overall appearance but uses up more display room and thus limits me on how much I can collect. When I need more space, I sometimes sell some of my action figures that I no longer want.
I've never brought an action figure online. I like to look at the action figure in person before buying. I find that half the fun of collecting is going out and searching stores and finding that hard to get action figure. I usually just buy the action figures that I really want to own. I don't usually collect for the sake of getting everything in a series.

Star Wars, etc

Marvel, Star Wars, etc

Dr Who, Batman, DC, etc

DC

Final Fantasy, He-man, etc

Marvel, etc

Star Trek, etc

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Marvel, etc

Marvel

Marvel, Transformers

Simpsons, South Park, etc

Transformers

Marvel

Hey mate & welcome, nice collection there.....I like the idea of the thin shelving but it must take up plenty of space

Re: Stags Collection
Thanks for the comments...As for issues with space for my action figures....
When I was a kid, I kept my action figures in a large container. In 1994 (16 years ago) When I started collecting as a teenage adult, I started with a few 80s/90s action figures side by side on a few shelves I made from a fruit/vegetable crate.

I think it was a few years later, my brother gave me two plastic shelves that was previously used in a store to stock spices. I stocked my action figures many figures deep but realised I could barely see some of them.

Later about 1998, another relative gave me a cabinet and I stocked my action figures two deep but with gaps between the front row characters, so I could partly see those behind. But I didn't really like that method either and I also realised I had collected a lot of action figures just because it looked interesting but I didn't really know much about those characters.

So I later sold off those lesser known characters and other characters I thought didn't suit my collection anymore. I put my remaining action figures back to being one row side by side. They took up half of the cabinet. That was about December 1999 and at that point I said to myself its going to be a new millennium and I have most of the main marvel/dc and Sci-Fi characters that I wanted, and thus I wasn't going to collect anymore.
But then I brought the X-Men movie characters which were in a large scale compared to most of my other action figures being medium size. I then moved into my brother’s house and got myself another cabinet cheap and hence started buying more large and medium scale action figures. I moved again to where I live now, and I was given some book shelfs and I then brought marvel/dc and Sci-Fi action figures in any size scale.
Recently I got myself some more cheap cabinets to replace the book shelves. I also sold off some of my medium size marvel/dc action figures from the 80s/90s/early 2000s because I had most of them in the large scale and I needed the room. I kept Alpha Flight, Classic X-Men, various Jean Greys (my favourite lesser known character) and some other medium size action figures I either didn't have in large scale or just couldn't part with (like the dc animated figures)

I also recently sold off some large size action figures that I either have better versions of in the cabinets or they are of characters I don't want anymore.

Most of my very large action figures I recently sold off simply because they took up too much room.

So I've learn to managed my collection by trying to keep them one row side by side within the cabinets I have, otherwise I get another cabinet or I get rid of action figures I don't want or need anymore.

Re: Stags Collection
Hoooly crap! That's awesome Stags.
I love all your Jean Grey/Phoenix figures. She's a character I collect...not that she got a lot of love in the 90's. Though DST seem to be very into her with their various Marvel lines at the moment. Hoping they make a few more in Marvel Select like the 90's Jean, New X-men Jean & a Black Queen for good measure!
Great shelves too. I wish more of my toys were behind glass.

Re: Stags Collection
Artistix: Yes I also wish more of my collectibles where behinded glass, like my diecast cars and Micro Machines.
Dabigfella: Yes those last three photos are of action figures I've sold. Up until recently I just wasn't able to find any Australian sites for action figures and I didn't want to use ebay. While I might use the internet to find people, I only make the final trade/sell transaction in person. So I ended up getting some money and trade credit at a local store, I didn't get a lot for it but I got some other hard to find action figures at a fair price with the trade credit.
bowspearer: Its actually a Machine Men (Machine Robo/Go Bots) and I think its called Spoiler.
I googled a link about it here although not sure if the information is accurate
http://counter-x.net/gobots/reviews/series1/spoiler.html
Its one of the few toys I have left from when I was a child. I love Lamborghinis so I buy Transformers/Machine Men and any other transforming toy that is of Lamborghinis. I have two more transforming Lamborghinis (called Roadbots) in larger scale and are with my (non-transforming) diecast Lamborghinis.

(Photo taken from above) The Green Lamborghini Murcielago (back left) and and the Yellow Countach (front right) both are Roadbots that transform.

Some of my other collectibles like my Star Wars/Star Trek Micro Machines and my various Hotwheels/Matchbox cars including Lamborghinis and Batmobiles.

More Lamborghini and other collectibles, also the Star Wars Aurra Sing action figure was signed by the actress at a local event I attended.
